Thursday 9/26/2024 - Away We Go (Daily Diary)
Our limo driver was here at 2:30 am; Jonny on the spot!! We were packed and ready to go with the checklist checked and double-checked. The limo was loaded, and we were off like a herd of buffalo transversing the 55 to the 91 to the 605 to the 105 and finally into the American Airlines terminal.
We had plenty of time before our flight so we share a turkey sandwich and two cups of coffee, the cost was $40! Oh my!
LAX was not all that busy at 6:30 am!
Wheels up at 6:35 am
Here we go!
We were above the clouds in a flash!
We rose into the morning sky breaking through the clouds in just moments after beginning the takeoff. Catalina and the Santa Monica mountains poked through the cloud cover.

Breakfast was served and it was quite good.

Time to sit back for the next two hours and listen to the radio or watch a movie.
The clouds cleared over Philadelphia!
We had a quick layover in Philly!
Mary had the tickies!
90 minutes later we were picking up our car for a ride to Bar Harbor.
