We Introduce The Family To Pierogi!
It's Sunday and Colleen catches the airplane at 7:00 PM and flies all night back to her home. She has been with us for two wonderful weeks and we all hated to see her return. We had the Liles, the Lind's, and the DDuda's with us. Bob and Robin came early and cooked up a polish masterpiece. It was a delightful afternoon.
Pierogi are one of the most recognizable Polish foods. Pierogi is actually the plural form of the word pierĂ³g, a generic term for filled dumplings. These half circular dumplings are made from unleavened dough and are stuffed with fillings.
Robin and Bob came about 10:45 AM to get things started!
