Here they come! Pomp and Circumstance begins
Did You Know? - The Pomp and Circumstance Marches (full title Pomp and Circumstance Military Marches), Op. 39, are a series of marches for orchestra composed by Sir Edward Elgar.
" March No. 1 in D " is the best known of the set. It was completed, together with March No. 2, in 1901, soon after the first performance of his "Dream of Gerontius" which had been badly performed. Elgar dedicated it to Alfred Rodewald who conducted its first performance with the Liverpool Orchestra Society on 19 October 1901.
In the United States the tune is sometimes known as "Pomp and Circumstance" or as "The Graduation March", and is played as the processional tune at high school and college graduation ceremonies,

Lucky Nick... He didn't recognize you!
Quotation To Remember: You get to make your own luck. 80% of success in your career will come from just showing up. The world is run by those who show up…not those who wait to be asked. - Steve Blank
They look pretty good!
Back to his seat
Back to sitting.... Just a little while longer
Only a few more remain!
The moon shines above
Exciting times
Grab those tassels
Did You Know? - There is at some colleges and universities a practice of moving the tassel from one side to the other on graduating, but this is a modern innovation that would be impractical out of doors due to the vagaries of the wind. However, this mark of transition to graduate status has the benefit of taking less time than more traditional indicators such as the individual conferring of the hood or a complete change of dress part-way through the ceremony (as at Oxford in the United Kingdom). In such universities it is common for undergraduates to begin the commencement ceremony with their tassels on the right. Switching the tassel to the left may be done individually or as a group.
Fireworks....
Magnificent!
Find your family!
A very proud moment!
Looking good
Quotation To Remember: That diploma you hold in your hands today is really just your learner's permit for the rest of the drive through life. Remember, you don't have to be smarter than the next person, all you have to do is be willing to work harder than the next person. - Jimmy Iovine
"All mine!"
Unkle Steve looks pretty happy
Grandma loves that boy
"Oh oh... Is he in trouble?"
Another beer for Nick!
Quotation To Remember: We're not just gathered here on a lovely May day in an ordinary high school graduation. We're all strapped in, seated together on a gigantic ball whirling around the sun at 67,000 miles per hour, nested in a galaxy hurtling through the depths of space and time at 1.3 million miles per hour.
Remember 2011? He was still drinking beer!
We are so proud of Mr. Nick
