Let The Fun Begin!
We were up before the chickens this morning.
We decided to make corned beef four different ways for this evening's meal. That means we had to get up early and start the slow cooker at about 8:30 AM.
The slow cooker requires about eight hours so it was first!
The Dutch oven was loaded with goodies and put into the oven at 375° for almost four hours.
Chef Mary is todays spiceologist!
We need TV while we work!
Robin is off to the hairdresser and Colleen and Nick are off to the Elks!
We are ready for the pressure cooker now.
Scout helps by keeping the elephants from coming into the kitchen and stealing the beef!

The Irish butter was a hit; Kerrygold!
Even though the butters can be used interchangeably, Irish butter has a higher fat and lower water count than American butter, so it has a better taste and makes it a better choice for baking.
