Dinner & The Mission Inn

Dinner And A Walk At The Mission Inn

I am a very blessed man to have such wonderful people in my life especially at this time of the year.  Miss Robin, my oldest daughter, invited Mary and I to her home for Bob's World Famous Pirogies. After dinner we went by Candycane Lane and then off to see what the Mission Inn did this horrible year. We had a complete ball!!!

The evening gets underway!

Champagne is served, and guzzled!

The drummer keeps the beat going!

Dancing pirogies!

Mary gets the 25 cent tour!

Robin explains about the various areas on the tree.

Mary is ready to do the "pirogies thing"

Nick shows us his class project in set design, pretty neat!

Lots of detail in the design plus he was in time to lead us in the Grace.

He needs the hands of surgeon to do this kind of work! Mary!!!

The call to Colleen to check in and see what the east coast has to offer

I downed those suckers in five minutes flat! Delicious!

Two blocks long and lights everywhere!

Watch out for the mice!

Loads of people walking back and forth seeing the displays.

The Inn is known for its 4,500,000 lights but this year, due to the COVID-19 situation, the displays were severely reduced in scope. It was still pretty and we keep the tradition alive!

We have arrived!

Cute couple!

Mary and I are showing our better sides!

The smooch heard around the world!

That was good, let's do it again!

Laughing and giggling, the thing to do!

Perhaps I should pull my mask back up?

Selfie time!

One more try!

You can dress them up but you can't take these two anywhere!

They LOOK so innocent but we know the real them!

The poor tin soldier will be smiling for the next two weeks!

Mary looks for the bird in the birdcage.

Not quite like the last few years!

The inside is pretty empty.

Let 's take a walk!

"Ah Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho!!!!"

The wooden Santa has a woody!

Last year the place was packed!

An amazing tree!

Our selection was made, Mary and I are going to share one!

She really did say "share" but I did not realize she
gets the donut and I get the box!

Cudo's to the cook!

Someone is about to be teased!

Cute!

The Robin pose!

Who cracked a joke??

Slurp!
