More importantly, we is retired!!!!! More time to enjoy the garden!
Everything is ready for summertime
This year we finally retied and now are enjoying the garden every day. When we get up in the morning, it is fun to go harvesting. This morning (May 8th) I harvested two bags of squash which Sue will turn into a wonderful pasta dinner this evening.
I can smell the sweet smell of straw mulch and go measure the height of the green beans. Sue enjoys the little herb garden and the strawberries which are stuffed into pots all over the yard.
This is our front yard in the morning. In the afternoon we will have a little glass of wine in the hot tub and listed to the vegetables yawn after a hard day growing.
