OK, who asked for the polka???
Did You Know? - European dance and also a genre of dance music familiar throughout Europe and the Americas. It originated in the middle of the 19th century in Bohemia. It is supposed[by whom?] that its characteristic sounds and beats were taken from easily audible noises naturally occurring in a peasant farm. Polka is still a popular genre of folk music in many European countries.

Here they come again... We put hay bales along the front of the dance floor just in case
Did You Know? - The name is generally thought[vague] to come from the Czech word půlka ("little half") – a reference to the short half-steps featuring in the dance. But from its very outset, the word has been influenced by the similarity to the Czech word Polka ("Polish woman/girl"), and the Polish homophonic word Polka with the same meaning. The name has led to the dance's origin being sometimes mistakenly attributed to Poland.
