The Adventure Itinerary August 2025

We are sailing on the "RHAPSODY OF THE SEAS". Rhapsody of the Seas features the Viking Crown Lounge for panoramic views, an extensive Shall We Dance Lounge for entertainment, and activities like a rock climbing wall and arcade.

It is known for its melodic décor theme, a 1/4-mile jogging track, and a variety of dining options, including the Chef's Table and the Park Café.

San Juan, Puerto Rico, is known for being the oldest continuously inhabited, European-established settlement in the United States, with the city's official name being the Municipality of the Capital City of Saint John the Baptist, and for being the birthplace of the piña colada cocktail. Other fun facts include the city's two major forts, Fort San Felipe del Morro and Fort San Cristóbal, the historic nature of its blue cobblestone streets called "adoquines," and the fact that the Spanish word "calle" meaning "street" precedes the street name.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Charlotte Amalie is a city and cruise ship port on the Caribbean island of St. Thomas. It is the capital of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Its Danish colonial architecture includes Blackbeard's Castle, a 1600s watchtower. The 99 Steps ascend to the tower, which has panoramic views. The 17th-century Fort Christian is now a museum with art and artifacts. East of town, the Skyride aerial tram climbs to Paradise Point.

St. Croix, US Virgin ISlands

St. Croix trivia includes its status as the location of the easternmost point in the United States, Point Udall, its status as the only U.S. territory where people drive on the left, and the location of the deepest point in the Atlantic Ocean, the Puerto Rico Trench, just off its coast. The island, with a rich history under multiple colonial powers including Denmark and Spain, is also known for its beautiful bioluminescent bay and its legacy of rum production, such as Cruzan Rum.

The town was founded in 1763 by John Philips to centralize trade and still features the 1793 courthouse, a prominent landmark that also appears on the country's flag
