Blastoff Minus Two Hours!
We are back at Downtown Disney about to receive our last meal should the adventure to the Galaxy's Edge be more dangerous than expected...and it may be! We await the Duda's who we will meet at the Star Wars Meeting point in the old Carousel of Progress in Tomorrow Land.
Chilaquiles looked pretty good!
Did You Know? - Typically, corn tortillas cut in quarters and lightly fried are the basis of the dish. Green or red salsa or mole is poured over the crisp tortilla triangles. The mixture is simmered until the tortilla starts softening. Pulled chicken is sometimes added to the mix. It is commonly garnished with crema, crumbled queso fresco, raw onion rings and avocado slices. Chilaquiles can be served with refried beans, eggs (scrambled or fried), beef and guacamole as side dish.
Paul went for the "Breakfast Sandwich" which was OUTSTANDING!
I can't believe I ate half of that whole thing!"
We got a snapshot before departing for Disneyland proper
The kids parked in the structure and they could see the construction underway. This this new feature, one can walk form the parking structure into Downtown Disney without having to go to ground level and cross the street...straight shot from structure to the old ESPN Zone.

Bob meets R2D2
Did You Know? - R2-D2, or Artoo-Detoo, is a fictional robot character in the Star Wars franchise created by George Lucas. A small astromech droid, R2-D2 is a major character and appears in nine out of the ten Star Wars films to date. Throughout the course of the films, R2 is a friend to C-3PO, Padmé Amidala, Anakin Skywalker, Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, and Obi-Wan Kenobi in various points in the saga.
The name derives from when Lucas was making one of his earlier films, American Graffiti. Sound editor Walter Murch states that he is responsible for the utterance which sparked the name for the droid. Murch asked for Reel 2, Dialog Track 2, in the abbreviated form "R-2-D-2". Lucas, who was in the room and had dozed off while working on the script for Star Wars, momentarily woke when he heard the request and, after asking for clarification, stated that it was a "great name" before going back to writing his script.
The Falcon looks pretty good from this vantage point!
Did You Know? - The sound of the ship traveling through hyperspace comes from two tracks of the engine noise of a McDonnell Douglas DC-9, with one track slightly out of synchronization with the other to introduce a phasing effect. To this, sound designer Ben Burtt added the hum of the cooling fans on the motion-control rig at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM).
It's flown a few miles!
Time to go for a ride!
