Married In 1968
Paul was married to Janis Feltz in 1968 through 1987... Nineteen years. We had three kids who are now grown and have kids and grandkids of their own. They are Jeanette, Joseph and Colleen.
Over the years we continued to grow apart and the fault lies on both sides. JAn tended to be happy not having friends and did not want to share the familt with anyone, including her own mom and dad.
I was quite the opposite as I enjoyed people and family and wanted to spend time with them as I knew they were aging quickly (remember Mom and Dad were married 20 years before I popped up on the scene).
With care, I arranged for Jan to want a divorce as I leaked to her only friend that I was having an affaire. I knew this would make Jan mad and instantly reuqire a divorce. It worked well.
During the proceedings I was living happily in Downey California in an apartment on Lakewood Blvd. It was three minutes to work and I got busy with my new job as Director of Avionics in Rockwell's attempted proposal for NASA on the Space Station Program.
During that period of time, I got to know Sue Miller, an old friend from my days running the Spave Shuttle Avionics Development Laboratory. we worked closely together and I got to understand how it could be with someone who accepted by rather weird personality
Married In 1988
Extremely happily, I married Sue right after the divorce was final on 3/24/1988. I was beyond happy having a partner in life who enjoyed family, who was not jealous, and who enjoyed sharing things with me.
My kids were estranged for a while but Sue and I had two "children". Michele (Sue's stepfaughter) and Robin (my work associate/secretary for over 20 years!)
Sue and I were extremely happily married for 33 years but the Lord took her in 2020 after a long serioes of illnesses. I thought my life ws completely over!
Married In 2021
I remarried in mid 2021 to a long time friend of 25 years. Dr. Mary Cote! I was alive again!
