We were up early because our gym was open and waiting for us! My trainer put me through the hoops! In addition to the five-mile bike ride, I got to sit on a big rubber ball and do the twist! Then I pushed and pulled various ropes connected to pulleys with 1,000-pound weights (well, they felt that way!). My fearless trainer today was Najla. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Persian usage, Najla is generally borrowed from Arabic and means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cwide-eyed,\u201d \u201clarge-eyed,\u201d or \u201cone with beautiful expressive eyes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s associated with beauty and charm, especially referring to lovely eyes.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

After getting home, we picked up Sydney and Robin and went to Rodrigo’s Mexican restaurant. I, of course, got a “large margarita” to wash down the fajitas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I gave a demo on the proper way to dine on tortillas! I have passed on my artistic skill to my kids and grandkids. <\/p>\n\n\n
