There will never be music like that again. The songs were 75 years old and going strong. We both felt like we were back in high school! I graduated from high school in 1962, while Mary graduated in 1969. It was released in 1958 and became one of their signature songs. I was in junior high, and Mary was only six!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/lilesnet.com\/dailydiary\/wp-content\/dailydiary\/uploads\/2026\/09\/RockRollIsHereToStay.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back to work!  Mary wrangled the bills while I went toe-to-toe with the computer goblins!  I now have both iMacs on my desk, and they actually talk to each other!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The website has officially been haunted\u2014I mean configured\u2014for <a href=\"\/halloween\/index.htm\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"\/halloween\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Halloween<\/a> and is now ready to receive all your spooky Halloween images! Apparently it\u2019s supposed to rain Sunday?! With fifteen people coming, we can easily move the festivities indoors\u2014because nothing says \u201cparty\u201d like casually pretending we planned it that way all along. And since it\u2019ll still be warm, the pool remains an option for anyone brave enough to combine swimming with possible weather drama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The shindig is being catered by Zena\u2019s Lebanese Cuisine in Orange, so at least the food situation is under control. The Beatles: The Touring Years<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"422\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 750 \/ 422;\" width=\"750\" controls src=\"https:\/\/lilesnet.com\/dailydiary\/wp-content\/dailydiary\/uploads\/2026\/09\/2026-09-04-006-rediced.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike other Beatles tribute acts, &#8220;1964&#8221; concentrates on only the &#8220;touring years&#8221; of the Beatles. Since this period is one of the most well-documented (pictures, films, and eyewitness accounts) in the Beatles&#8217; career, there is much to compare. &#8220;1964&#8221; has accomplished what many other acts could only dream of: An astonishingly accurate re-creation of the energy and the magic of those touring years.
