Success\u2026 well, sort of!<\/p>\n

We were enjoying our morning coffee on the patio when I checked the security camera\u2014and there was our missing kitty!\u00a0 She was actually inside the trap\u2026 but somehow managed to tiptoe around the strike plate like a tiny furry ninja and escaped again.<\/p>\n

So tonight, we’re moving the food farther back into the trap.\u00a0 No more loopholes, Miss Whiskers.\u00a0 Tonight, the tuna buffet comes with a capture clause.\u00a0 She is ours tonight!!<\/p>\n

Clever kitty!!<\/p><\/div>\n

Five years ago, Tuesday will be our 5th anniversary, but it falls on a Tuesday, so we decided to make the celebration tonight.<\/p>\n

Mary, Jan, and I (who got us together) five years ago at Patty’s Place dining room.\u00a0 We invited Jan, but she did not want to go this year as she is stuck at home.<\/p>\n

Happy times!<\/p><\/div>\n

We walked in the garden and looked at our patio corn!<\/p>\n

We hope this experiment works!<\/p><\/div>\n

Our patio is perfect for morning coffee.\u00a0 We read the newspaper, visit, and make plans for the day!\u00a0 Today the plan is easy: work until 1:00 pm, get cleaned up, and head for Patty’s at 4:00 pm.<\/p>\n

Life is good!!<\/p><\/div>\n

The weather began wonderfully with the Sun shining and the garden beckoning us to come and do some trimming.\u00a0 Mary trimmed the roses.<\/p>\n

The pool remains at 92 degrees, perfect for the evening swim!<\/p><\/div>\n

The water is a cool 92 degrees, and we have all the lights in the plants working now!<\/p>\n

Lookout water, here we come!!<\/p><\/div>\n

Mary’s roses are doing well!<\/p>\n

The drip system keeps everything moist!\u00a0 The roses are beautiful<\/span><\/span>,l and the smells are nice!<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

Mary deadheaded the roses and got them ready for additional growth.<\/p>\n

We love the armonas<\/p><\/div>\n

Mary finished off her diamond art birds!\u00a0 They are so cute!<\/p>\n

Diamond art (also called diamond painting) is a craft where you place tiny, shiny resi” “diamonds” or drills onto a sticky, pre-printed canvas to create a sparkling picture.
\nIt’s similar to paint-by-numbers, but instead of paint, you use small gems.\u00a0 Each symbol on the canvas matches a diamond color, and you place them one by one with a special pen tool.

Then we got ready to celebrate five years.\u00a0 Robin and Bob came over at 3:00 pm, and we emptied a bottle of champagne before heading to Patty’s Plan.<\/p>\n
