Two in the morning?\u00a0 Are you kidding??<\/p><\/div>\n

Nope, the sounds of Alexa’s going off made us jump out of bed and finish packing before the 2:45 am departure from Orange.\u00a0 Robin is coming back to our house to spend time since Bob is in New Hampshire for a week-long gig.<\/p>\n

An early morning departure kicked off a busy travel day, with a few hassles but an enjoyable evening at the destination.<\/span><\/p>\n

We arrived with time to spare, so we checked in.\u00a0 Again, this was NOT a pleasant experience.<\/p>\n

I may NEVER bend over again!<\/p><\/div>\n

We have the Global Entry card, and that is a joke.\u00a0 I passed, except for my suspenders.\u00a0 Because of my suspenders, I had to take off my shoes and almost had to remove my shirt!\u00a0 Next time, I will staple my pants to my body!!<\/p>\n

We finally got on the airplane and headed to Denver!\u00a0 Denver?\u00a0 Wrong direction, Hop-A-Long!\u00a0 \u00a0 The flight was uneventful until we found out we had to change terminals.\u00a0 A lovely man in a golf cart recognized our plight, and he whisked us off to the intra-terminal train.\u00a0 Yep, a train to the next terminal.\u00a0 Without his help, we would still be walking.<\/p>\n

Finally, we board for the second leg of the journey!\u00a0 Yes, five hours means one bourbon and seven each hour.\u00a0 When we got close, both the airplane and I were flying.<\/p>\n

We were in row four, but we were flying the plane!!<\/p><\/div>\n

We are getting closer!\u00a0 We are over the water now.\u00a0 35,000 feet in the sky at 540 miles per hour, oh my!!\u00a0 I refrained from opening the window!<\/p>\n

Check the altitude!!<\/p><\/div>\n

We ordered a limousine so the kids wouldn’t have to come to the airport to pick us up. We were in a huge black Cadillac. I felt like we were in an FBI vehicle.<\/p>\n

We made it!<\/p>\n

Mary found a friend.<\/p><\/div>\n

The distance from the airport to the hotel was only eight miles at a rate of $10\/mile.\u00a0 It was worth it as the driver moved all the luggage for us!<\/p>\n

We had a superb view from our room, even as dusk approached.\u00a0 The Sun was sinking into the west; we could hear the water sizzling.<\/p>\n

We were on the 8th floor and had a fantastic view of the beach!<\/p><\/div>\n

We decided on Italian at the hotel, and the restaurant was excellent.\u00a0 Pasta was flying left and right.\u00a0 I reminded everybody that life is full of pasta-bilities.<\/p>\n

We had Italian for dinner and a load of giggles.<\/p><\/div>\n

Colleen and Mark were the life of the party!<\/p>\n

Watch out for these two!!<\/p><\/div>\n

We were tired from all the flying and went to our room, where we crashed!<\/p>\n
