It’s Sunday, and we’re in for a great day!\u00a0 \u00a0We did work in the garden for about two hours, but then we needed to rest for the Starkighters tribute to the 100th anniversary of the Grand Old Opry!<\/p>\n

The kids did an excellent job of cleaning up after last night’s soiree, but only so many dishes can fit into the dishwasher.\u00a0 We did another semi-load, and voil\u00e0, the kitchen was back to normal!<\/p>\n

By noon, we were ready to relax, and we did.\u00a0 By 3:00 pm, we were hunting for our clothes for the Starlighters dance this evening.<\/p>\n

We arrived early, as we are board members and assist in setting up the event.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0We were the first to use the backdrop; we were the guinea pigs!<\/p>\n

The lighting was ready to go!<\/p><\/div>\n

We danced and danced and visited and visited.\u00a0 \u00a0 It was evening, and we had over eighty people at the dance; Tropic Starr did a magnificent job mixing country with other dance music.<\/p>\n

The ladies were all dressed up for the event!<\/p><\/div>\n

Our table was the usual culprits!<\/p>\n

Vicky and Jim were dressed to the 9’s!<\/p><\/div>\n

Minnie Pearl says, HOWDEE!!!!!<\/p><\/div>\n

We tossed a few back, and someone slipped me a glass of wine?!<\/p>\n

A cowboy with wine?\u00a0 \u00a0I never heard of such a thing!!<\/p><\/div>\n

The place was rocking!<\/p>\n

The music was fantastic, and the dancers followed suit!<\/p><\/div>\n

We danced the two-step but just missed the Cowboy Chacha!<\/p>\n

We had our boots on, so cockroaches beware!!<\/p><\/div>\n

We headed out about 9:30 pm and crashed as soon as we got home.<\/p>\n
