We will spend 45 minutes riding the stationary bike and an hour working out!<\/p><\/div>\n

My eyes opened at 7:10 am, and quickly we jumped out of bed and headed off to get ready to be subjected to severe punishment!\u00a0 We often wonder why we pay these horrible people to bend, twist, contort, convulse, defile, deform, disfigure, and otherwise give pain to these magnificent bodies!\u00a0 As I type, the word “OUCH!” comes to mind!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

After twenty minutes on the bike, I smelled smoke and then heard the fire engines approaching the gym.\u00a0 Men ran off the fire engines carrying hoses pointed right at little old me!\u00a0 It was scary!\u00a0 They had donned their HAZMAT uniforms and were carrying buckets of chemicals to put out the flames.<\/p>\n

The picture was taken right before the bike burst into flames due to overheating!<\/p><\/div>\n

After battling the flames for ten minutes, the bike was put out of its rest.\u00a0 It will never be the same!<\/p>\n

Our cleaning crew arrived around 1:00 pm, and we got ready to go to Southcoast Repertory to see “You Are Cordially Invited To The End Of The World!<\/em>“.\u00a0 We’re going with Bonnie and Dianne.<\/p>\n

A different sort of play!<\/p><\/div>\n

Before we embark on our grand theatrical adventure, it’s crucial to fuel up\u2014because no one wants to hear a stomach growling louder than a bear!\u00a0 Time for a dinner pit stop!\u00a0 The Silver Trumpet is our choice because the food is divine and the parking arrangements are excellent!<\/p>\n

We were a few minutes late, but our booth was ready for us!<\/p><\/div>\n

The girls went for the Bambi Pops, oh my!\u00a0 I never heard such gnawing at the bones.\u00a0 It would shiver the timbers of any lion or tiger within hearing range.\u00a0 I made the fatal mistake of telling the girls that tossing the finished bones over their shoulder was the proper etiquette.\u00a0 That was a grave mistake.\u00a0 \u00a0Bones were thrown all over the restaurant.<\/p>\n

Poor Bambi!<\/p><\/div>\n

To be different, I decided the\u00a0Seared Diver Scallops were for me.\u00a0 They were cooked to perfection, and the risotto was excellent!!!<\/p>\n

Scallops are fascinating bivalves with several unique features. They have eyes on their mantle, swim via jet propulsion, and some are hermaphrodites. They also filter plankton for food and can have up to 200 eyes along the edge of their shells.\u00a0 I felt like I was being watched the entire time, and now I know why!<\/p>\n

Delicious!<\/p><\/div>\n

To top things off, I ordered a twice-baked potato, which I had to hide from Mary, as if it were a top-secret government file!\u00a0 I could picture her face if she found out\u2014I’d never hear the end of it.\u00a0 Who knew potato envy was a thing?<\/p>\n

I went off the wagon, but I only had a small glass of wine!<\/p>\n

Twice-baked potatoes, yummy!<\/p><\/div>\n

We finished off dinner with desserts, at least for Dianne and me.\u00a0 Raspberry cheesecake just sounded too good to pass up!!<\/p>\n

We are ready for dessert!<\/p><\/div>\n

We laughed and giggled all dinner long!\u00a0 Mary told us about her plan for her bathroom.<\/p>\n

Oh my!!<\/p><\/div>\n

The time is up, we have to trek over to Southcoast Repertory Theater and find our seats!<\/p>\n

Enjoying a good visit!<\/p><\/div>\n

After dinner, at 6:50 p.m., we walked across the street to the theater and took our seats in row K, which was perfect!<\/p>\n

After the play, we went back to the restaurant and used their facilities before driving home.\u00a0 We picked up our leftovers, which the restaurant graciously had placed in their refrigerator.<\/p>\n

On the 55, we zoomed home and arrived 18 minutes later!\u00a0 We discussed the play on the way home and decided the best we could say was that, “It was different!”<\/p>\n
