It’s Easter morning, and for the first time in forty years, I’m not panicked about getting ready for guests or heading to brunch.\u00a0 The family is getting older, and they must establish their traditions.\u00a0 Years ago, we had a tradition of going to the desert, but now the kids and grandkids go, and I’m too old for it. Michele and crew are in Oregon, taking a look at Oregon State for Theo!\u00a0 \u00a0We had brunch at home (see the website)!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Today we will have eight family members joining us, and on the bright side, we can have them in the formal dining room along with Mae West and WC Fields.\u00a0 Dianne and Fast Eddie, Robin, Bob, Nick, Kayla, and Greg will be joining us.\u00a0 We will be missing Connor, as he called earlier and wasn’t feeling well!<\/p>\n

Not like years gone by! That’s OK, life goes on!!<\/p><\/div>\n

We were up at 7:00 am, and I did the breathing activity, which I started about three days ago.\u00a0 We both worked together to make sure everything looked good.<\/p>\n

We got a message from Vicky, all is going well after the “little accident”.\u00a0 We’ll see them on the 25th!<\/p>\n

A trip to the market may be necessary, but my GPS isn’t working anymore!<\/p>\n

We were invited to a neighbor’s home for an early “Bottomless Brunch,” and we were looking forward to the champagne, but when we arrived, we were sent back home quickly.\u00a0 Who would have thought!<\/p>\n

Oops!!<\/p><\/div>\n

My Easter prayer was answered!\u00a0 As I stepped into the shower, I weighed 199.5 pounds!\u00a0 Now Mary will call be wrinkles!<\/p>\n

The arrival time was 11:00 am, so we had plenty of work to do to get ready.\u00a0 Mae and Mary worked in the formal dining room.\u00a0 Mae joked as Mary struggled with a towering stack of napkins. At least they always remembered one thing: when in doubt, say it’s a new trend!<\/p>\n

They are an outstanding team!!<\/p><\/div>\n

Everyone was here on or before 11:00 am.\u00a0 We visited and circled the appetizers for a while before heading for brunch in the formal dining room.\u00a0 It looked like a flock of buzzards!<\/p>\n

Brunch is served!<\/p><\/div>\n

The nine of us swapped stories and laughed and giggled for a couple of hours while devouring a terrific brunch!<\/p>\n

Mary sat next to Greg and got so tickled with his stories that she was hysterical!<\/p><\/div>\n

As the “adult end of the table,” we behaved… NOT!!\u00a0 WC kept whispering in my ear something about “How do you like kids? Well done!<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

WC Fields kept an eye on us!<\/p><\/div>\n

Giggles were heard for miles!\u00a0 Fast Eddie and Crazy Greg had a good time poking fun at each other!\u00a0 We enjoyed the banter!<\/p>\n

Time to head out; everyone has other activities planned for the day!<\/p><\/div>\n

Greg gave us his story about wandering-eye Rosie and their trip to the Music Hall in Los Angeles, we were all in stitches!<\/p>\n

Mary was in tears!<\/p><\/div>\n

After brunch, we headed to the backyard, and Robin and Bob hid the eggs from the “kids” – 25-year-old kids!\u00a0 \u00a0Bob played the Theme From Benny Hill in the background, and some people just had to move!\u00a0 Mary has the wiggles!<\/p>\n
