We were up and at ’em bright and early!<\/p><\/div>\n

Last night was Scout’s night to roar.\u00a0 He went to bed by himself at 9:00 pm, so I thought this would be easy.\u00a0 At 11 pm, 1 am, 3 am, and 3:15 am, I was alerted to his needs and had to pry myself out of bed and walk the halls to the door.\u00a0 Scout had the fidgets!<\/p>\n

When we got up at 6:45 am this morning, I almost squirted my bottle of water into his ear, but I restrained myself.<\/p>\n

We had to be up and moving so we could depart for Huntington Beach at 9 am for our hair appointment.\u00a0 The day was dreary and grey.\u00a0 Where did Spring go?\u00a0 Mary picked sweet peas for our hairdresser, which meant the car would smell great at the salon.<\/p>\n

We got to the shop early, so we went next door to the bagel store and had breakfast.\u00a0 Mary goes into the seat first, and then I follow while her hair is getting dried.<\/p>\n

While Mary was getting her finishing touches, I went to the car and readied myself to receive a call from an old friend who is going through prostate issues.\u00a0 I talked to him for about 50 minutes, and then Mary joined the conversation.\u00a0 We were happy to be of assistance to him!<\/p>\n

Then we went home via two dress stores.\u00a0 These stores were where Mary used to go after leaving her practice in Huntington Beach.<\/p>\n

Finally, we got home, and Mary went to the kitchen to prepare some goodies for our Easter party on Sunday.\u00a0 I stayed in their garage and made it look like a garage, rather than a junkyard.<\/p>\n

The trike now sits behind Precious.<\/p>\n

The trike is getting ready to rock and roll!<\/p><\/div>\n

The shop is now ready to reopen, as I have cleared out the table space.\u00a0 \u00a0All the batteries are charged, and the desktop space heater is functioning well.<\/p>\n

The ship is in ship-shape!<\/p><\/div>\n

After an hour, I was so tired in the garage that I stopped and went inside.\u00a0 We are going to the Elks tonight to dance to one of our favorite bands.\u00a0 \u00a0 We will be joining Donna, Bob, and probably Iris and Will.\u00a0 \u00a0We miss Jim and Vicky, but they will be back on the 25th.<\/p>\n

No kidding<\/p><\/div>\n

I finished my breathing a little early, at 5:10 pm, just in time to change clothes and zoom off to the Elks.<\/p>\n

We were the first ones there, but soon we were joined by Ed Roberts, Betty, Bob, Donna, Will, and then Iris.\u00a0 We all dined and danced until almost 8:30 pm.\u00a0 The music was perfect!\u00a0 We were so busy having fun, I didn’t even take a picture.<\/p>\n

Returning home, we were tired and headed right to bed.\u00a0 Mary tried to watch TV, but I rolled over and fell asleep.\u00a0 Last night’s Scout wakeup event caught up with me.<\/p>\n
