My internal clock went off at 6:00 am, and today was the first day I had to wake up the dog and take him outside!\u00a0 Dad 1; Scout 0!<\/p>\n

I got out of bed carefully so her nibs could continue her recovery.\u00a0 Today, I had to face the gym alone.\u00a0 Before today, I knew my trusty sidekick was within a few feet of me should I need help, like getting untangled from the exercise machine. But today was different; I went alone.<\/p>\n

Right before I departed, Mary pinned a note on my gym outfit.\u00a0 It was an envelope with instructions, “In Case Of Emergency.”\u00a0 \u00a0I was curious, so on the way to the gym, I opened the envelope, and there was a list of items, including:<\/p>\n

  1. The names and phone numbers of all my various doctors (at least ten of them, but why the dentist?)<\/li>\n
  2. My current list of prescriptions.<\/li>\n
  3. Name and phone numbers of people to notify in case of???\u00a0 It had 32 names on it, mostly bill collectors and my bookie!<\/li>\n
  4. A list of my favorite meals.<\/li>\n
  5. Instructions on how to make a gin martini.<\/li>\n
  6. A list of my phobias including:\n

    1. Ergophobia – A fear of or aversion to work.<\/li>\n
    2. Taphephobia – The fear of being interred alive.<\/li>\n
    3. Anatidaephobia – the irrational fear that somewhere, a duck or goose is watching you<\/li>\n
    4. Arachibutyrophobia \u2013 Fear of peanut butter.<\/li>\n
    5. Chronomentrophobia \u2013 Fear of clocks<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    6. Address and directions to the nearest looney bin<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Undaunted, I made it to the gym and submitted myself to great humiliation by having to ride the stationary bike for two miles.\u00a0 The last one and 9\/10th mile was tough!<\/p>\n

      After the gym, I headed to the market where I am known as the “Gasping Grocer” because I go there right after Anthony squeezes the last breath out of my poor little body!<\/p>\n

      We did our Wednesday thing; cleaning the house before the house cleaners show up!<\/p>\n

      Mary worked in her closet for several houra and fill a large box with items that are no longer needed!\u00a0 She now had room to add new things!<\/p>\n

      At 6:00 pm I headed for the kitchen and made dinner!\u00a0 Thank you YOUTUBE for helping me with dinner!<\/p>\n
