\"\"We got up early and worked all day putting Christmas in their boxes! Mary did most of the moving\/packing while I resorted to lifting and staging things for the boys who came over later.<\/p>\n

We were just about pooped when the bell rang, and Joe and family came to visit.\u00a0 We traded them the use of our van for some muscles, moving all of the boxes back into the garage attic for the next eleven months!<\/p>\n

While the boys slaved away, Mary and I visited with Amy.<\/p>\n

Miss Amy came with Joe and the boys, so we visited.<\/p><\/div>\n

Joe departed around 4:30 p.m., and we quickly, like bunnies, got ready for the birthday party of our grandson’s father-in-law, Gary. As usual, we are always on the move\u2014like a cat on a Roomba! One moment, we’re on the couch, and the next, we’re doing the cha-cha in the kitchen while avoiding laundry like it’s a personal vendetta! If only our energy levels worked as efficiently as our coffee consumption!<\/p>\n

Moreno’s is just six minutes from our house, which is perfect because it takes me about that long to convince myself that I need a taco! I swear my car has a built-in GPS that only directs me to the nearest food spots. It’s practically a culinary homing beacon!<\/p>\n

We arrived along with the family right on time and were seated inside as it was a tad zippy on the patio!<\/p>\n

Zack and Becca sat across from us, making it impossible to ignore their animated hand gestures. Every time Becca laughed, Zack insisted on showing off his \u201cdancing eyebrows,\u201d while I wondered if we\u2019d been invited to a dinner party or a comedy club! Honestly, at one point, I half-expected a spotlight to shine down, and for them to start charging admission!<\/p>\n

Grandson Zachary and his bride Rebecca made for a fun evening.<\/p><\/div>\n

The kids visited everyone.\u00a0 Noah, Zack’s Best Man at the wedding was there and we got to visit with his two little ones.<\/p>\n

Remington joins the fun, always clowning around.<\/p><\/div>\n

Gary was surrounded by family including cousins who came in from out of state.\u00a0 We all sang happy birthday.\u00a0 The entire evening was quite enjoyable.\u00a0 Family is a good thing!<\/p>\n

Gary celebrates his 60th birthday!<\/p><\/div>\n

Gary is a good friend and the grandpa to my great grandchildren!<\/p>\n
