At either 4:00 am or 5:00\u00a0 am, Scout got fired!\u00a0 He pawed my bed and asked to go out.\u00a0 OK, I can accept one interruption because I had to “go out” also.\u00a0 Back in bed, I went, chilled to the bone. Scout was on his bed, and it was either 4:10 or 5:10 am.\u00a0 I dozed off and was getting warm!<\/p>\n
What do I hear? It’s another pawing sound.\u00a0 Scout did pee but forgot to get a drink of water, and only outside water would do this early in the morning; inside water is unacceptable.<\/p>\n
I am up again, following him to the door for his “outside water.”\u00a0 Now I am going to the office because I am totally awake, and it dawns on me that the clocks are different!\u00a0 Does this mean it is exercise day?\u00a0 Yes indeed, the time changed at midnight.\u00a0 \u00a0 Our GPS-tied clocks are accurate, but the other seven require manual intervention.<\/p>\n
Spring forward and fall back are what some people call mnemonics; I call it dangerous exercise.<\/p>\n
Lookout, ladder, here I come! I\u2019ll be up there faster than a cat chasing a laser pointer\u2014just don’t expect me to get down gracefully. It\u2019s not like I come with a built-in parachute!<\/p>\n
We rested most of the day.\u00a0 I did some planting in the garden whilst Mary wilded away her time in her new pad, the LOFT.<\/p>\n

Positioned miles above the common folk in what used to be our “Ballroom,” “Mary’s Loft” is her hide-away where creative juices can flow and she can keep an eye on the hired help toiling away in the pasture land below.\u00a0 \u00a0I soon expect her to request a PA system to direct what gets done from her padded seat in the Loft.<\/p>\n

She has everything she needs, including a hot and cold running slave (Me).<\/p><\/div>\n
Her latest work was of pumpkins, and when Colleen saw it on the bat phone, she requested some blue pinkins to be added.\u00a0 So, with her azure, cobalt, cerulean, navy, ultramarine, indigo, and aquamarine colors at hand, the blue pumpkins were added.<\/p>\n
Mary plans to give the painting to Colleen when she comes out for my surprise birthday party!<\/p>\n

We got the “Colleen Seal Of Approval” via the Bat Phone later in the day.<\/p><\/div>\n
It was time for dinner, but Mary was still under the weather, so we warmed a couple of sandwiches, freshened up some fries in the new air fryer, and had dinner at 6:00 p.m.!<\/p>\n

Air Fryer is becoming indispensable!<\/p><\/div>\n
Even though we were at the tail end of “LOST,”\u00a0 at 8:00 pm, I convinced Mary it was time to take her NyQuil and hit the sack.\u00a0 She went out like a light.<\/p>\n
Scout was rehired (after being fired early this morning), and\u00a0 he and I went outside to make the rounds and secure the property from those pesky elephants before calling it a day.<\/p>\n
We will sleep well tonight as the outside temperature is 48 degrees; we will not need the whole house fan this evening for more than an hour.<\/p>\n
