We enjoyed our morning coffee!<\/p><\/div>\n

The alarm went off, and we were up like shots. I got my exercise in, just trying to get into my sweatpants! That’s one way to start the day with some unexpected morning cardio!<\/p>\n

By 8:15 am, we were dressed and ready to battle with our trainers!\u00a0 I assumed the position of most minor pain, lying on the floor!\u00a0 He jumped me and bent my legs into a pretzel.\u00a0 I was not worried until I saw my right knee whiz by my left ear and the sound of crunching bones!<\/p>\n

After the gym, we headed home to get bandaids and other first-aid goodies.\u00a0 \u00a0 Then we did our Wednesday house cleaning activity to ensure the house was clean for the house cleaners!<\/p>\n

I remembered the first rule of house cleaning while listening to music: the toilet brush is never the microphone.<\/p>\n

Domi arrived, and we took off to do our chores.\u00a0 \u00a0But first, I told her, “Both of us can\u2019t look good at the same time; it\u2019s me or the house.”<\/p>\n

Michaels is a great place to shop for DYI artsy-fartsy items.\u00a0 Michaels Stores, Inc., more commonly known as Michaels, is a privately held chain of American and Canadian arts and crafts stores. It is North America’s largest provider of arts, crafts, framing, floral and wall d\u00e9cor, and merchandise for makers and do-it-yourself home decorators.<\/p>\n

Shopping at Michaels is always fun!<\/p><\/div>\n

We looked carefully at the skeletons that were already out for Halloween.\u00a0 Kinky little suckers they were!<\/p>\n

Oops!<\/p><\/div>\n

We had to get this one because that is how we feel when using the derned computer. Who knew that pressing a bunch of buttons could be so emotionally draining?<\/p>\n

We took a detour on the way home and made a pit stop at Ralph’s Market to stock up on some dinner treats. Because let’s be honest, what’s a meal without a side of spontaneous grocery shopping, right?<\/p>\n

Mary told me about her desire to attend medical school and what happened during the entrance exam!<\/p>\n

No kidding!<\/p><\/div>\n

Mary cooked a great dinner, and while she went to the kitchen, Scout (The Wonder Dog) and I played in the family room.\u00a0 I got down, put my nose next to his, and then woke him up!\u00a0 \u00a0He was a bit startled.\u00a0 After a few minutes of me scratching him, we wanted me to stay!<\/p>\n

We had dinner and then attempted to save the world on Jeff’s front porch! It turns out that the world’s fate is best discussed over chardonnay and old scotch!<\/p>\n

Returning home, we went into the swim spa and soaked for 45 minutes before bed.\u00a0 Tomorrow, Paul has to get two surgeries on his face to remove bad stuff.\u00a0 \u00a0 Our appointment in Long Beach is at 8:00 am, so we will be up and running at 5:30 am.<\/p>\n
