Colonel &#8216;Sky&#8221; Fairchild. But  her father decides the WAC training won&#8217;t hurt her and she ends up in  Fort Lee, Virginia, along with an ex-burlesque queen, &#8216;&#8221;Danger&#8221; McDowd,  now know as Clara. She is forced to go through basic training. Her  ex-husband, Andrew McBain, shows up at Fort Lee on business and  Fairchild returns there from Paris.
