Because he has private\u00a0elf care!<\/p>\n<p>The Lodge Ballroom was arranged with tables of ten, and the dance floor was equipped with tables for kids to play games and do artwork.\u00a0 There was a backdrop for Santa to sit in front of, where children could tell him what they wanted for Christmas.\u00a0 Overall, everything looked quite nice.<\/p>\n<p>Who hides in the bakery at Christmas? class=\"wp-caption-text\">They expected a full house this morning.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>We didn&#8217;t make any reservations, so we were directed to sit in the members&#8217; lounge, which was a godsend.\u00a0 We had a view into the ballroom through the double doors, but it was also far enough away from the screaming kids that their noise wasn&#8217;t a problem.\u00a0 All in all, it was an ideal spot to relax.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-75555\" and the food was perfect for brunch!\u00a0 We had the famous Elks salad, and the hot eggs, bacon, and ham were quite good.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_75534\" style=\"width: 910px\" class=\"wp-caption entertainment at the new Phoenix Club.\u00a0 While the entertainment was OK, the facility was a monumental setback from the original Phoenix Club in Anaheim.\u00a0 There was not even a front door and left the place, as the noise of 150 people crammed into such a small space became unbearable.\u00a0 Then I had an idea: why not go for an early dinner at Renata&#8217;s Restaurant in Orange, a favorite local spot for us?\u00a0 We invited Bob and Donna to join us, but Bob was still lying down, unable to get up from this morning&#8217;s fatigue.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_75557\" enjoyed a glass of wine.\u00a0 As we neared the end of our dinner, we decided to call Jeff, our neighbor, to see if he would like to join us for a meal.\u00a0 He ordered a lasagne for himself as Lodge four doors down.\u00a0 We went up to the lounge on the third floor, where we met the ER named Roslyn Peggins and some locals.\u00a0 We all had a glass of chardonnay together.<\/p>\n<div Jeff&#8217;s, we headed home, which was only 200 feet away.\u00a0 As we pulled into the driveway, we noticed someone was approaching our front door.\u00a0 It turned out to be one of our neighbors who informed us that our garage door was open.\u00a0 We thanked her; we have lovely neighbors.<\/p>\n<p>We didn&#8217;t say that we have an app installed on our phone that senses when we are approaching our house within a range of 200 feet.\u00a0 The app automatically opens the garage door so that the door is already opened when we arrive at our driveway.\u00a0 Since we were at Jeff&#8217;s place, dropping off the lasagne, the app activated and opened the garage door.<\/p>\n<p>We crashed; it had been a long day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
