We both had dental appointments first thing.\u00a0 I went first, and then Mary followed.\u00a0 My crown did not fit so I have to return next week.\u00a0 Mary’s adjustment went fine!<\/p>\n

Finally, she can’t talk!<\/p><\/div>\n

The dental office had little versions of dentists; Dad, Uncle, and Daghter! Too cute!<\/p>\n

Cute!<\/p><\/div>\n

On our way home we stopped at Rockwell’s for breakfast!\u00a0 It’s a local establishment and they have great food.\u00a0 I needed my morning coffee.<\/p>\n

Their omelets are terrific.<\/p><\/div>\n

We decorated and got most of everything done.\u00a0 Mary finally found her glasses.\u00a0 She loves the color!<\/p>\n

Who is this masked person?<\/p><\/div>\n

I was on repair duty as every year we open a triage center and get out the batteries and glue.\u00a0 Today it was the pyramids that needed some attention!<\/p>\n

Dr. Paul, at your service!<\/p><\/div>\n

Mary put together the other pyramid as it did not need an intervention!.<\/p>\n

What is the story behind the Christmas pyramids? <\/b>The name Christmas pyramid came about because the Napoleonic campaign in Egypt at the end of the 18th century brought pictures of the pyramids back to Europe and eventually to the Ore Mountains, where they reminded the people of the mining capstans and also of the Christmas constructions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It is beginning to take shape!\u00a0 Every surface is covered and Scout is going crazy trying to figure out what to chew on first!\u00a0 Just kidding, he doesn’t chew!<\/p>\n

The cleaning people can come tomorrow.<\/p><\/div>\n

Major surgery is underway!\u00a0 Glue, tape, nails, thumbtacks…whatever it takes.\u00a0 Mary made me put on my nurse’s uniform (complete with the short skirt).\u00a0 \u00a0I fooled her and put on my French maid’s costume instead; she was so busy in surgery she did not notice!<\/p>\n

Repairs are sometimes frustrating.<\/p><\/div>\n

We declared victory.\u00a0 Christmas is finally here but we did NOT do the tree yet, perhaps this weekend!<\/p>\n

No open surfaces are available!<\/p><\/div>\n

We changed the lights to alternating green and red!\u00a0 Love the Govee lighting system.<\/p>\n

Easy to adjust from the iPhone!<\/p><\/div>\n
