All day we drive from one doctor to another.\u00a0 I knew getting older was challenging but an all-day doctor fest?<\/p>\n
At 8:00 am, we are on the road to Newport Beach to visit Dr. Klein for the one-week eyeball checkup.\u00a0 I now have 20\/20 in one eye and 20\/25 in the other; out damn glasses, I say out!\u00a0 The left eye has a slight dizziness, but that will worsen over time.\u00a0 I am so happy; Dr. Klein did a miracle.<\/p>\n

It was an easy day; I am an excellent patient.<\/p><\/div>\n
By 9:00 am, we were off and running again, this time to the skin doctor.\u00a0 Mary, being very smart, called ahead of time, and indeed, they had the times messed up.\u00a0 \u00a0Finally, Mary got a 1:00 pm appointment to do the MOSE procedure and remove the stitches from the ear.<\/p>\n
Now, we had to fit in the dentist, so we called while on the freeway, and sure enough, there was an immediate opening.\u00a0 I swung the big wheel on The Silver Fox and careened onto the Brokehurst offramp on two wheels.\u00a0 The phone call to the office was all of five minutes.\u00a0 After some x-rays and an examination, we decided the pills for the ear had taken care of the tooth, so all is well for the weekend trip!\u00a0 I must go to a root canal specialist if the tooth hurts again.<\/p>\n
We showed Dr. Anne our garden, and she is ready to come over and pick!<\/p>\n

We were taken from our security camera mounted on the house’s second floor.<\/p><\/div>\n
OK, it is now 10:00 am, and we have three hours until the next doctor.\u00a0 We went to the Club for a late breakfast.\u00a0 It was quiet, and we enjoyed a great breakfast, even with a glass of champagne, celebrating making it halfway through the day!<\/p>\n
There is a Chico’s in the Los Alamitos shopping center, and we had some time to kill!\u00a0 Mary got some outfits for the upcoming cruise.<\/p>\n

We are now almost ready for the trip!<\/p><\/div>\n
Over the Long Beach for a 1:00 pm appointment.\u00a0 I love my doctor as he is funny as well as quite competent.\u00a0 His nurses come in because I keep them in stitches, laughing, that is!<\/p>\n

The incision is eye shaped, so they can put the skin together using stitches, making it smooth.<\/p>\n

The cancer was right on the top!<\/p><\/div>\n
He promised to minimize the damage to the hair as I did not have much to spare!<\/p>\n

That is a big hole, but they got the entire cancer, as proven by the MOSE procedure.<\/p><\/div>\n
Today was a one-cut-only day; the MOSE results showed all cancer was removed, and no borderline remnants remained.\u00a0 He we teasing me, at my expense, about being a fat head because of the fat tissue they had to remove.<\/p>\n

Look brand new!<\/p><\/div>\n
OK, fat removed, cancer gone, only lost two hairs, we are in excellent shape.<\/p>\n
We headed for home at 3:00 pm, and we beat the traffic arriving home 27 minutes later.\u00a0 We worked in the yard for a while with Mary planting Hollyhocks, and I waterproofed the garden tools\/amendments because we have a chance of light rain this evening.<\/p>\n
We had bell peppers for dinner and watched a great movie called “The Man.”\u00a0 We nearly choked as the film was so funny.\u00a0 Samuel L. Jackson is a great actor.<\/p>\n
