Where did the day go???\u00a0 We began, as always, with a quick garden tour and made a list of things for Carlos to take care of.\u00a0 I built the new planter and placed it behind Casa Valencia Vinyard.<\/p>\n

Robin stayed with us last night, and we sat around drinking coffee and walking the garden.\u00a0 Before Robin departed, we made up the menu for Mother’s Day, and Mary sent her home with some flowers from the garden.<\/p>\n

Mary made a bouquet for Robin to take home,<\/p><\/div>\n

We drove to Costco, picked up supplies for the party, and returned home to put them away\u2014then off to the regular market for specialty items.\u00a0 Mary needed a pedicure, so I joined her; we are both pretty now.<\/p>\n

Besides looking good, I get a 30 minute cap nap!<\/p>\n

We made ourselves beautiful.<\/p><\/div>\n

We had enough time to change clothes and race to Huntington Beach for dinner with friends at Vittorio’s Italian Restaurant, where we enjoyed the piano player.<\/p>\n

Beverly and George joined the fray this evening.\u00a0\u00a0The trouble with eating Italian food is that five or six days later, you\u2019re hungry again.<\/p>\n

I tried a selfie, and our waitress got in the picture; we had a good laugh!<\/p>\n

We arrived home at 10:00 pm, and I snapped goodbye pictures of the couches I have had for many years; we decided to go to theater seating since we have an 80″ TV on the wall in the TV (Living) Room.<\/p>\n

Goodbye, old friends; I hope they get an excellent new home as they are almost new!<\/p><\/div>\n
