The magnificent solar disk was unobservable this morning by a thick layer of moisture we call fog.\u00a0 Our backyard mountains were also hiding, so I asked Alexa about the outside temperature.\u00a0 With her teeth chattering, she responded, “Danger Danger, Mr. Paul, it is 52 chilling degrees outside” I\u00a0 went over to the thermostat, and it indicated it was 68 inside, so with a flick of my wrist, I sent the gas company another $20 by making the house 72 degrees; Scout will appreciate that!<\/p>\n
Robin will do some errands today and return to us by four pm so we can head to Catal; it is their last day in business.<\/p>\n
Carlos and crew showed up at a9:00 am00 am, and I had them plant three trees and three flowers.\u00a0 These guys are great; they make digging look easy!\u00a0 Me, I look at a shovel and quickly pass out!<\/p>\n

The Red Maples are ready to be planted; Carlos is coming by today.<\/p><\/div>\n
Zack dropped by and picked up his new wheels for the dune-buggy.\u00a0 Bob works at a tire and wheels store and got Zack an excellent deal of new wheels.\u00a0 Zack stayed for quite a while and visited and saw the vertical garden.\u00a0 He\u00a0 tightened the toll-around TV cart for me; being thirty years old and flexible is often an advantage1<\/p>\n

I helped Zack load the new wheels.<\/p><\/div>\n
Mary fixed breakfast, and I worked in the yard for a while; Mary was already dressed for thevening’sg’s adventure.<\/p>\n
When Robin returned, we departed for Downtown Disney, and we stopped to get some flowers for Valerie, who lives on a mini-farm and enjoys gardening and her animals.<\/p>\n

We stopped at Home Depot and brought flowers for Valerie.<\/p><\/div>\n
One last shot of Catal; it is closing after a twenty-two-year run!\u00a0 We had fabulous times there celebrating Christmas, easter, birthdays, and dancing every Saturday night for ten years!<\/p>\n

Mary went for the steak, and it was amazing, two inches thick, and cooked to perfection!\u00a0 She gave me a piece of the steak, and it was outstanding.\u00a0 We need to learn how to cook a think steak and have it cooked on the inside without making the outside charcoal!<\/p>\n

We shared many memories this evening as we had gone there quite often!\u00a0 Christmas Eve was always a special event where we would have dinner and return to the park for fireworks.<\/p>\n

He disappeared and returned with two large boxes, which he placed on the bar near us.\u00a0 They were candle-powered lanterns.\u00a0 He was struggling, so I jumped up and helped him put them together, and Sue placed them on all the tables.\u00a0 We were a team.\u00a0 Chisel was a great guy and smarter than a whip! We laughed about that evening for years.\u00a0 Yes, the lights went on and off all evening, but the UVA Bar lit up, and folks enjoyed their drinks! For the next twenty years, we went to Disneyland for Christmas Eve and always had dinner at Catal before returning to the park for fireworks.<\/p>\nWe have two decades of memories there before Sue’s pSue’Sue’ssingVID-19.\u00a0 (We also went to Catal every time we went to Disneyland, which was very often, sometimes once a week during the summers, so that we could dance!
