We worked in the garden most of the day, and things are getting ready for the tomatoes.\u00a0 Scout, of course, is always there to “help.”\u00a0 Mary is busy taking the last edible portion of the cauliflowers before I toss them into the trash heap of history.\u00a0 \u00a0Her little two-wheeled wheelbarrow is perfect for such activities.<\/p>\n

By mid-afternoon, the weather turned cold and blustery!\u00a0 We battened down the hatched for an expected rain storm putting all the tools, bags of fertilizer, and carts in their weatherproof locations.<\/p>\n
We went to the Elks to make vote and have dinner.\u00a0 Jeff, our neighbor, joined us this evening and drove us. We departed our home at 5:30 pm, and right on schedule, the clouds opened up, and down came the rain.<\/p>\n
Never mind cats and dogs; it was raining chickens and ducks.\u00a0 It was definitely fowl weather.<\/p>\n
While we were eating before the formal meeting, my backyard security camera went off.\u00a0 I looked at it was the raindrops that set things off.\u00a0 The two white vertical lines in the frame are raindrops that are being illuminated by the security camera’s lights.<\/p>\n
A friend of mine did his pilot\u2019s exam just after a storm and flew through a rainbow.\u00a0 He passed with flying colors.<\/p>\n

Streaks alerted us we had a visitor, the rain.<\/p><\/div>\n
We were back home at about 9:30 pm after a rousing meeting where we elected our friend Buck to be the new post-PER official.<\/p>\n
Returning home, the house was decorated in green since we were getting decorated for St. Patrick’s Day.<\/p>\n

Outside we are green!<\/p><\/div>\n
Inside, the night lights are set to be on at sunset and off at sunrise, and, of course, in green.\u00a0 The stars on the ceiling are courtesy of Colleen, who got us a little spaceman astronaut that projects nebulas and stars on the ceiling.<\/p>\n

We love this little guy! He shines all night long.<\/p><\/div>\n

Our night lights are also green in the family room.\u00a0 These lights are all programmable with 64,000,000 colors possible including ability to flicker, change output, and other delightful things which I will someday figure out.<\/p>\n
