We were up and ready to go early, but there was no place to go, so we stayed home and worked in the office.\u00a0 We are making progress going through paperwork and boxes of goodies.\u00a0 We put all our office supplies together and are now ready to open a small Staples Store in our front yard!<\/p>\n

We were hungry when we started our trek to Mary’s doctor in Fountain Valley at noon.\u00a0 I found the wheel, but the Silver Fox insisted on pulling into In-n-Out Burger, where we devoured a cheeseburger.\u00a0 Mary was good and did the protein style (lettuce instead of bread).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

On the other hand, I had to go with the regular burger because I was going to drive and eat.\u00a0 I envisioned having to stop fast, squeezing the lettuce-wrapped burger, and having the contents squirt through the car, hitting the windshield at 45 miles per hour, making a\u00a0 horrific, <\/span><\/span>horrendous, <\/span><\/span>frightful, <\/span><\/span>fearful, <\/span><\/span>awful, <\/span><\/span>terrible, <\/span><\/span>shocking, <\/span><\/span>appalling, <\/span><\/span>hideous, <\/span><\/span>grim, <\/span><\/span>grisly, <\/span><\/span>ghastly, <\/span><\/span>harrowing, <\/span><\/span>gruesome, <\/span><\/span>heinous, <\/span><\/span>vile sound as it splattered!<\/span><\/p>\n

Returning home, I put Miracle Grow on the veggies and pulled some weeds.\u00a0 \u00a0The iPhone notified me of delivery, and it was two of Scout’s long area rugs, and he ordered them for the hallway, where his paws are slippery.<\/p>\n

I heard noises upstairs and went to see what was happening.\u00a0 \u00a0Mary and Colleen were decorating the Valentine’s Day tree.\u00a0 I came in the nick of time; they were both too short to do the top!<\/p>\n

The Valentine’s Day tree is up!<\/p><\/div>\n

Me on a ladder?\u00a0 Mary had the cell phone out, ready to dial 911.\u00a0 Colleen notified all the King’s horses and all the King’s men.\u00a0 What, me worry?<\/p>\n

Oops!<\/p><\/div>\n

We went out tonight, and Mary asked Colleen to assist with the hair.\u00a0 Wow, Mary looks younger with the new hairdo; I like it.\u00a0 When we go out, people will comment, “So nice of you to bring your daughter with you!”<\/p>\n

I am ready to go!<\/p><\/div>\n

We left for Vittorios in Huntington Beach at 6:00 PM arriving at 7:15 PM; we forgot about Friday night traffic!\u00a0 The dinner was terrific.\u00a0 The\u00a0 Capps and Zaitz made fantastic dinner partners.\u00a0 The evening was quite enjoyable!<\/p>\n

Decisions decisions!<\/p><\/div>\n

I did the Capellini Florentina, which is Capellini Pasta, Chicken, Artichoke Hearts, Spinach, Sun Dried Tomatoes, and Roma Tomatoes in light cream sauce.\u00a0 It was amazing.\u00a0 Mary had soup and salad, and Colleen had Chicken Piccata.<\/p>\n

Bring on the grub!<\/p><\/div>\n

We laughed and giggled the entire time.\u00a0 The piano player did a fantastic job.\u00a0 At the end of dinner, we were doing “Name That Tune” with songs from the 1920s-1940s.<\/p>\n

Bill and I had the same meal, but I finished mine!<\/p><\/div>\n

Bob Z was there, so the banter was incessant!\u00a0 We have fun together!<\/p>\n

\"\"

The storytelling goes on!<\/p><\/div>\n

We departed around 9:00 PM and headed home; no Aces this evening!\u00a0 When we got home, Scout and I went outside so he could do his business, and then I heard this angelic voice saying, “Don’t pee on the grass.”\u00a0 It scared Scout and me to death.\u00a0 We nearly wet ourselves!<\/p>\n

What are you and Scout doing?<\/p><\/div>\n

No TV tonight; we turned off the heater and turned on the whole house fan.\u00a0 Within a few minutes, the house was at 60 degrees, the perfect sleeping temperature.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
