We are so lucky to have her in the family.<\/p><\/div>\n
I went to Home Depot at 8:00 AM to get two additional roses because Carlos, our gardener, is coming to trim the roses, and he will plant the new ones for us.\u00a0 He got to our house just before I arrived and was already working hard.\u00a0 He had two helpers today, so the trimming, planting, and other yard duties went pretty fast.<\/p>\n
Around 10:00 AM, Mary and I hit the backyard and did additional cleanup, plus I got the rain cover, finally, on Mary’s garden workstation and sink.\u00a0 Now we can have tools and other necessary items on the workstation plus protect the wood from the elements.<\/p>\n

The area is now protected!<\/p><\/div>\n
We worked until it was almost dark and then had dinner with the salad from our garden.\u00a0 The star of the salad was our Daikon radishes.\u00a0 Mary noted, “One of the issues with making salad is bland lettuce, and it’s a problem that needs addressing.”<\/p>\n
I did tell Mary that I made a chicken salad once.\u00a0 This stupid thing won’t eat it.<\/p>\n

We finished the massive piece of beef from Rondaliers dance last night, along with a beautiful salad.\u00a0 This garden is going to be fun for us.<\/p>\n
We went to Jan’s for a short visit before returning home.\u00a0 By 8:30 PM, we were in bed.\u00a0 Mary wanted to watch a movie, but she lasted about five minutes before sawing logs.\u00a0 It was a productive day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
