Fact:\u00a0 Christmas trees usually grow for close to 15 years before they can be sold.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Dang, we must be party animals as we didn’t get up until almost 7:00 AM, and Mary stayed comatose until 8:30 AM.\u00a0 \u00a0The funny part is that we had one glass of wine each last night; we were tired.<\/p>\n

We love our friend and my neighbor for 30 years, Vicky.\u00a0 Everyone else knows her, also!<\/p>\n

Fun Fun Fun<\/p><\/div>\n

We had our morning coffee and sat down to discuss the plans for the day.\u00a0 Mary has a new way of getting my attention.<\/p>\n

\"\"We finished cleaning up after the party and stayed close to the fire.\u00a0 When we were getting ready to go out for dinner with the Capps, I realized I still had my jammies on; I had NOT done that in decades!\u00a0 This retirement is fun!<\/p>\n

We talked to Colleen on the bat phone, and all is well on the east coast, albeit a little on the cool side.<\/p>\n

At 6:30 PM, we headed for Huntington Beach to meet the Capps at Vitorio’s Italian Restaurant.\u00a0 We sat in the piano bar and were entertained by a delightful piano player who could play anything; I challenged him with “Amazing Grace,” and not only did he play it, he gave me a history lesson in how it came to be!<\/p>\n

The restaurant has been in existence for 45 years!<\/p><\/div>\n

We spent almost three hours chatting away!\u00a0 Bill and Mary are lovely folks we met through the Elks many years ago.<\/p>\n

We went VFR home and got ready for bed; I turned on the TV to watch a movie, and Mary was already crashed, so I removed her glasses and tucked her in, and I lasted another hour before the Sandman visited.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow is Scrooge (A Christmas Carol) at Southcoast Repertory Theater.\u00a0 I am restarting a thirty-year tradition.\u00a0 We are going with a group of fourteen family and friends!<\/p>\n
