True yesterday, true today, and tre tomorrow!<\/p><\/div>\n

Today we visit the Elks Lodge for the last time before Christmas!\u00a0 We had several folks there, including Jim and Vicky!\u00a0 \u00a0Jim is getting to know us (and he still hangs around?).\u00a0 Vicky and I got coordinated the New Year’s Eve dance\/celebration.<\/p>\n

I told Vicky, “Santa puts you on the naughty list if he has just claus.”<\/p>\n

Vicky and Jim joined us today!<\/p><\/div>\n

Beverly usually is at the gym, courtesy of the weekly cheesecake we send home to her.\u00a0 Today she joined the crowd, which is always pleasant.\u00a0 I told Beverly, “Christmas trees wear skirts, so you won’t cedar roots.”<\/p>\n

George and Beverly came today, yeah!!<\/p><\/div>\n

Put Bob and me together; there is no need for additional entertainment!\u00a0 Bob even had the gaul to ask me, “What does Santa do when the reindeer drive too fast?” I thought for quite a while, remembered Bob’s personality, ate a sardine, dunked a pickle into my wine,\u00a0 and answered, “Hold on for deer life.” I think it was the sardine that helped!<\/p>\n

Iris and Will joined the party today, which was great.\u00a0 Normally Iris is just getting bailed out of jail for something, and Will comes alone, but today, Iris was good (she is awaiting Santa’s arrival).\u00a0 Itis will be celebrating her 96th birthday this year.<\/p>\n

Mary passed her camera over to Vicky, who took a shot!\u00a0 We were both lit up after our lunch!\u00a0 We are hoping the batteries last through the holiday.<\/p>\n

We have no idea what these two are up to, but they are becoming like the rest of the gang!\u00a0 You can never tell what could happen.\u00a0 \u00a0I did hear Jim say, “Which one of Santa’s reindeer has the best moves?” Vicky paused for s second and immediately answered, Duh, Dancer!”<\/p>\n

What are they plotting?<\/p><\/div>\n

Our good friend Ronnie popped but and delivered roses from his garden.\u00a0 He often will show up and give a fresh rose to the ladies in the room.\u00a0 \u00a0He visits everyone and provides caustic comments to me, which I enjoy.\u00a0 Thank you, Ronnie!<\/p>\n

After the fine lunch, we headed home to visit Scout and then to UCI Medical Center for an appointment with Dr. Ranjan Gupta<\/p>\n

Just little ‘ol Scout, The Wonder Dog!<\/p><\/div>\n

UCI was only 15 minutes from out place, and the building we were looking for was 300 feet from the parking structure!\u00a0 Mary got a new set of fingerprints<\/del> arm x-rays.\u00a0 The results were wonderful; Dr. Gupta said he still would not operate and that Mary should begin to move her arm more and come back in four weeks.<\/p>\n

Dr. Gupta is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with sub-specialty training and expertise in shoulder, elbow, and hand surgery.\u00a0 His practice primarily focuses on shoulder surgery and complex reconstructive surgery.\u00a0 As one of only two active members of the prestigious American Shoulder and Elbow Society practicing in Orange County, he is particularly interested in shoulder replacement and minimally invasive\/arthroscopic shoulder surgery.\u00a0 Other areas of focus include the treatment of fractures, degenerative conditions, compressive neuropathies, distal radius malunions, and brachial plexus injuries.<\/p>\n

Gupta (\/??u?pt?\/) is a common surname or last name of Indian origin<\/b>.\u00a0 It is based on the Sanskrit word ??????\u00a0 gopt?, which means ‘guardian’ or ‘protector’.\u00a0 According to historian R. Once we got home, I took out the trash cans (I am tired of hearing the trash man, jumping out of bed, putting on my robe, and racing around the house putting out the trash cans!!” Last week I had on my baby-doll jammies and scared the trash truck driver to death!<\/p>\n

We then went to the swim spa for the first time since September.\u00a0 It worked out well as Mary’s arm “floated,” and she could move it without pain.\u00a0 We did three 15-minute sets of bubbles before getting out, and we were as loose as a goose!<\/p>\n

The view from the pool was great!<\/p><\/div>\n

We went from the pool to the dining room and watched two Christmas movies.\u00a0 Mary fixed dinner, which was a real surprise.\u00a0 We wanted turkey sandwiches, but there was not enough left for two, so I got the swiss cheese and sardine sandwich while Mary got the turkey.\u00a0 It was pretty good!!<\/p>\n

We really enjoy each other’s company so we dine at home a lot; it is fun to work with Mary in the kitchen even when I get sardine and swiss cheese sandwiches.<\/p>\n
