Today started with a bang; the trap snapped, and I added one more to my score.\u00a0 I think we ought to scalp them and hang the scalps on the wall as a deterrent.<\/p>\n

Carlos soon arrived to mow what remains of our beautiful yard.\u00a0 We asked Carlos to trim the two trees in our backyard, and he started today and will finish on Saturday.\u00a0 It is a big job.<\/p>\n

I toured the yard to see what progress has been made, and we are looking good!\u00a0 The stacks will soon be flat and cemented to the top of the retaining walls; the bullnose is smooth and ready for our butts s we can garden and weed in comfort!<\/p>\n

I have always wondered: If a red house has red bricks, a yellow house has yellow bricks, what color bricks does a green house have?<\/p>\n

Ready to be laid!<\/p><\/div>\n

There are over 500 square feet of gardening area in these beds, and the space between them will be cemented next week!<\/p>\n

Three more days, and the planters will be ready to receive dirt!<\/p><\/div>\n

We will ask Carlos to trim our trees and put some trimmings into the bottom of the planter so we can save money on the amount of dirt we have to buy!<\/p>\n

We went for an MRI in Yorba Linda at UCI, which was so easy as it was twelve minutes away.\u00a0 The machine was a Three-Tesla unit and gave an excellent resolution.<\/p>\n

After the MRI, we went home and got ready to visit Los Alamitos and visit two doctors.\u00a0 After picking up some reports from doctor number one, we went to Shenandoah for lunch.<\/p>\n

You know the restaurant has a clown as a chef when the food tastes funny.<\/p>\n

We selected a salad and a cold turkey sandwich.\u00a0 There was so much food we brought half of it home.\u00a0 We had a cooler in the truck of the Silver Fox, so Mary went to Tubby’s Liquor and got a bag of ice; the rest is history.<\/p>\n

Why is a polar bear a cheap pet to have?\u00a0 Because it lives on ice.<\/p>\n

Mary wanted to go to Shenandoah for a year; we finally made it.<\/p><\/div>\n

After our meal, we walked around the little stream and visited the Koi.<\/p>\n

Fact:\u00a0 The oldest koi fish ever was a koi named Hanako was born in 1791 and didn’t die until 1977, which means she lived to be 226!<\/div>\n

It was a relaxed afternoon, finally.<\/p><\/div>\n

The Koi were in the shade as they can get sunburned if they stay in the open.<\/p>\n

Now, where did I put my fishing pole?<\/p><\/div>\n

From Shenandoah, we went to doctor number two and did not leave until 5:00 PM.\u00a0 \u00a0He agreed to perform the follow-up to the surgery.\u00a0 We will go to Detroit for the surgery in about a week, and Colleen will stay with Scout.<\/p>\n

To the Elks for a Ronnie DJ Night.\u00a0 Our neighbors joined us; we had almost eighteen of the gang with us tonight.\u00a0 Three couples are on vacation, and we missed them.<\/p>\n

Even with a sore foot, Mary and I did well.<\/p>\n

We were going home after the dance and I captured the girls in the parking lot.<\/p><\/div>\n
