Fact:\u00a0 The hottest natural temperature recorded was July 10th, 1913, in Death Valley, California.\u00a0 It was 134 degrees Fahrenheit.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

It was 80 when we got up this morning; hard to believe, almost like being in Phoenix or Las Vegas!\u00a0 Rumor has it the temperatures are starting to drop.<\/p>\n

I could not sleep, so I did the Daily Diary early.\u00a0 I looked at the thermometer, and it was already 75 degrees!<\/p>\n

We walked the garden to determine what must be done before it got hot, and suddenly, we heard a flock of geese!\u00a0 They landed in the schoolyard behind us and stayed there for quite a while.<\/p>\n

Mary told me this reminded her of action movies and her favorite actor.\u00a0 I was puzzled, and she said, “Goose Willis.”\u00a0 Of course, I had to replay, so I asked Mary, “Which side of a goose has the most feathers?’\u00a0 She studied the geese for a while and gave up.\u00a0 I responded with, “The outside!”\u00a0 Mary chased me back into the house, honking.<\/p>\n

They are loud and very messy!<\/p><\/div>\n

We got a text bright and early from our dance group; we got together for a group photo.\u00a0 We look pretty good after dancing for two hours.<\/p>\n

We watched our series for a while, and Mary, not to be idle, fixed her hat for the tea; I assisted by drilling holes in the little space-related decorations and provided thin steel wire to fasten them onto her hat.<\/p>\n

I worked in the garage for a while, attempting to move tools not used regularly into the He-Shed.\u00a0 I assisted Mary in slicing onions and slicing the zucchini and wondered what she was up to in the kitchen.\u00a0 At lunchtime, I was provided with a delicious stuffed zucchini, and it was terrific; I ate two pieces.<\/p>\n
