Fact:\u00a0 It is believed that gift-giving was a primitive caveman culture.\u00a0 These gifts were not packed in a fancy wrapper, but the gifts were from nature, like tree bark or rock.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Keeping with the caveman tradition, Mary and I gave Bob a box of rocks from our garden!<\/p>\n

We went to Girls Night Out after waiving off the insulation folks; they would come too late.<\/p>\n

We had a piece of cake brought out and placed a candle on it; we took turns squeezing Bob to get enough air out to put out the flame.<\/p>\n

We sang to Bob!<\/p><\/div>\n

We were in our patriotic best today, and Scout was with us.<\/p>\n

Just us!<\/p><\/div>\n

Yes, folks, it was hat day, and we were all decorated.<\/p>\n

We got a text from Gary, and we had some action in the backyard.\u00a0 We got our first rat; more to come!<\/p>\n

We caught a rat in the garden!<\/p><\/div>\n

The beds should be done by Tuesday, then several days to form in the walkways, and then more cement!\u00a0 We are getting closer!<\/p>\n

We are working hard to get it finished.<\/p><\/div>\n

We took Bob and Donna to Venada’s Italian Bistro for dinner.\u00a0 We had a ball teasing each other and talking about upcoming plans.<\/p>\n

We ordered another piece of cake for Bob to try to blow out.\u00a0 I canned the local fire department and told them to be ready.\u00a0 They drove right over when they heard it was Bob Z.<\/p>\n

We had to call the paramedics ahead of time.<\/p><\/div>\n

I was near Bob to catch him should he pass out again!<\/p>\n

We all helped Bob get that pesky flame out.<\/p><\/div>\n

We are fortunate to have wonderful friends!<\/p>\n
