It was a rainy morning, a surprise, but we managed. Scout went out about 6:00 AM and could not figure out what the wet stuff was about!<\/p>\n

The ol’ Grey Ghost did fine getting 28 MPG on the trip!<\/p>\n

Mary visited Rose, Dianne’s mother.<\/p><\/div>\n

We met Mary’s cousin and visited their home for a bit.\u00a0 Mary was given her real grandmother’s hope chest and we carefully put it in the back of the van.<\/p>\n

We had a wonderful lunch and shared more stories.<\/p>\n

We had a super visit with new family members.<\/p><\/div>\n

We arrived in Oregon City and met with Mary’s dear friend Lanette.\u00a0 They were camp counselors back in the late 1960s.\u00a0 Lanette’s parents were wonderful people and assisted Mary when her husband departed on Christmas Day 1995.\u00a0 They stayed and assisted for almost two months.<\/p>\n
