Fact: There is a word for someone giving an opinion on something they know nothing about. <\/strong>An ‘ultracrepidarian’ is someone who voices thoughts beyond their expertise.<\/em><\/p>\n

We had a 9:30 AM appointment with our new hairdresser as the one Mary has had for years up and moved to Tennessee. We know this lady as she does Colleen’s hair, and she is a talker!!<\/p>\n

We were a bit early when we pulled up, so we stopped at a coffee shop and got a hot drink to go. We noticed a Greek restaurant a couple of doors down, and it was the one CiCi from Rockwell’s recommended.<\/p>\n

I got my ears lowered, and then I departed when Mary got into the seat. When Mary called to be picked up, we suggested to each other, at the same time, that we dine at the Greek place. I do not remember my Greek mythology very well, and I guess you can say my misunderstanding of Greek mythology has always been my Achilles Elbow.<\/p>\n

We did, and it was good. Not fancy, but the food was quite acceptable. I told Mary, “What Athens in Greece, stays in Greece.”<\/p>\n

We were dining in Greece with an order of Saganaki!<\/p><\/div>\n

The Saganaki was excellent, albeit different than George’s in Long Beach.<\/p>\n

We prepared a pot roast and put it in the hot pot to cook for several hours upon returning home. “Pot roast,” as a term for browned meat cooked with vegetables in a covered pot, began appearing in cookbooks in the late 19th century, but this method of slow cooking in liquid, known as braising, is centuries older.<\/p>\n

We then dropped by Jan’s and brought some goodies; it was our “Meals On Wheels” run. She got borscht this evening which we made yesterday. We spent about an hour killing off a bottle of wine and telling tales to each other. Great fun. I captured a story that Mary was telling. I must begin to capture the entire story and catalog them for the kids and grandkids.<\/p>\n
