Fact:<\/em> The heads on Easter Island have bodies. <\/strong>The iconic stone heads protruding from the ground on Easter Island are familiar to most, but many don’t realize what lies beneath the surface. In the ’10s, archaeologists studying the hundreds of stone statues on the Pacific Island excavated two figures, revealing entire torsos, measuring as high as 33 feet.<\/em><\/p>\n

I am taking away Mary’s camera when I have my eye-warmers on! I use the eye warmers before I put on my medicine, and I was sitting at the computer with my trusty stead, Scout, and she snapped a picture.<\/p>\n

Today was a lost day; we did very little. We did a fly-by at Bill’s to put some food on his table and a smile on his face. We decided to stop at Rockwell’s on the way back, and we ordered three of their Italian dinners. What were we going to do with that, you ask! We did a Jan fly-by.<\/p>\n

We showed up with all this food calling her ahead of course. She informed us she does not eat this early. OMG, we opened up the dinners and put a little on everyone’s plate. Jan went through her brunch like General Custer went through Atlanta, and she licked the plate.<\/p>\n

While we were talking, I asked Jan, “How does an Italian get into an honest business?”\u00a0 She was unsure, so I told her, “Usually through the skylight.”<\/p>\n

Jan was enjoying brunch!<\/p><\/div>\n

After seeing this picture I remembered the old joke, “What does an Italian have when one arm is shorter than the other?”\u00a0 Are you ready for this, really ready?\u00a0 Here it comes. “A speech impediment.”<\/p>\n

Mary and I enjoyed a glass of wine with Jan, and we talked for a good hour before leaving to water the dog and get ready to go to the PT session! I left Jan with something to think about, “What do you call a Roman with a cold?”\u00a0 I could not resist giving her the answer, “Julius Sneezer.”<\/p>\n

Italian brunch at Jan’s; good groceries!<\/p><\/div>\n

After going home, we got ready for a visit to the PT office at 3:30 PM. Mary did her routine, and I had an “assessment” made. Wouldn’t you know, the sciatica was non-existent while I was there; perhaps it was scared to death! I have a month’s worth of appointments side by side with Mary. We will both be walking by February 1st.<\/p>\n

On returning home, we decided to go to Aces Bar & Grille. We shared a salmon dinner, but the most fantastic thing is that we downloaded the jukebox app into Mary’s phone. The place had music from the 1940s and 1950s running, and several folks stopped by and commented that they liked our music.<\/p>\n

We got home and watched some TV before crashing; tomorrow is “Girls Night Out,” so we need to be rested!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
