The theme song from Moulin Rouge.\u00a0 I found the lyrics daunting.<\/p>\n<div class=\"didYouKnow\">Moulin Rouge is a 1952 British drama film directed by John Huston, produced by John and James Woolf for their Romulus Films company, and released by United Artists. The film is set in Paris in the late 19th century, following artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec in the city&#8217;s bohemian subculture in and around the burlesque palace of the Moulin Rouge. The screenplay is by Huston, based on the 1950 novel by Pierre La Mure. The cinematography was by Oswald Morris. It was raining cats and dogs, and I fell in a poodle.\u00a0 I did ask Colleen and Mary, &#8220;Why don\u2019t sheep shrink when it rains?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>We finally crashed, thinking that sitting in a tub of water in a lightning storm would not be a wise thing to do!<\/p>\n<p>At 2:00 AM, I heard the rain coming down in buckets, and we had almost 1.5 inches of rain in the middle of the night!\u00a0 It was raining harder than a cow pissing on a flat rock.
