It’s been raining for three days without stopping. My wife is in depression, and she is standing and looking through the window. If the rain doesn’t stop tomorrow, I’ll have to let her in.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

We are up and going bright and early as we prepare for Colleen’s arrival around 2:00 PM.\u00a0 I had doctor’s appointments back over in Los Alamitos, so I headed out at 8:30 AM for a 9:30 AM appointment.\u00a0 I went to three doctors and then stopped by to visit Miss Vicky.<\/p>\n

While at the doctor’s, I got a text and an alarm from my security system; someone was at the front door! The gazebo behind the pool is 180 feet away from the front door; we have a large lot! The security screen is not installed.<\/p>\n

Five Miles can see the great outdoors!<\/p><\/div>\n

At Vicky’s, I took a couple of shots of the murals, but they need to be taken at 3:00 PM, so the shadows do not cross the pictures, and the sun will be in the proper location.\u00a0 The one below is for DEL as he loved hunting g in the mountains.<\/p>\n

Beautiful!<\/p><\/div>\n

This mural brought tears to my eyes as I remembered Vicky asking what kind of flowers Sue, Mary, and I liked the most.\u00a0 \u00a0Each of these flowers represents a friend of family living, and someone passed.\u00a0 Vicky explained them all to me, but I did not hear it because of the three in the center.<\/p>\n

I know ow favorites of the Zaitz are there along with the Roberts, Vicky and Del, and many other friends and family. WOW!<\/p>\n

Tears, definitely tears!<\/p><\/div>\n

We walked and talked for a while before I high-tailed it home to see our new door. I did tell Vicky that if the CEO of IKEA was elected Prime Minister in Sweden, he should have his cabinet together by the end of the weekend.<\/p>\n

Vicky’s jungle.<\/p><\/div>\n

Colleen arrived about 2:30 PM with Jose, our driver.\u00a0 We talked for a while, and then I took a short nap while the girls continued talking.\u00a0 Mary and I made a beef pot pie, and that was for dinner.<\/p>\n

I was thinking about apple pie but I read the recipe.\u00a0 Following a recipe, it\u00a0 says I need: apples, five cubed. 125 sounds like a lot of apples for a pie.<\/p>\n

We sat and talked from 3:30-8:00 PM when Colleen’s eyes went half-mast; she headed to bed, and we were not too far behind her.<\/p>\n

Colleen is trying to stay awake, not easy; it is 10 PM her time!<\/p><\/div>\n

I was there, as the selfie proves!\u00a0 Notice our two Arab neighbors are still hanging around!<\/p>\n

I am enjoying the company!<\/p><\/div>\n

Tomorrow is Girls Night Out and a lot of errands.\u00a0 As I crawled towards the bed, I saw an ad for burial plots and thought this was the last thing I needed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
