A friend has gone into business fixing car ignitions.\u00a0 It\u2019s a start-up.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Wow!\u00a0 Mary has the day off, so we took advantage of that and did nothing!\u00a0 \u00a0We stopped at Hof’s Hut for breakfast.<\/p>\n

Mary in her work uniform!<\/p><\/div>\n

Scout came in and sat underneath our feet as we had breakfast!<\/p><\/div>\n

Well, nothing means we went to my house and started the packing process.\u00a0 While I wandered about inside, Mary watered the gardens, which pretty much takes up the entire morning and most of the afternoon.<\/p>\n

As we looked through my closets, MAry suggested we went the alcohol-free champagne to Vicky for tomorrow’s celebration!\u00a0 Fantastic idea.<\/p>\n

More things I do not have to pack up and move!<\/p><\/div>\n

While watering, Mary spotted two Artichokes which were more than ready, so they came home with us!<\/p>\n

Mary told me a story!<\/p><\/div>\n

One day two artichokes, who were best friends, were walking together down the street. They stepped off the curb, and a speeding car came around the corner and ran one of them over.<\/p>\n

The uninjured artichoke called 911 and helped his injured friend as best he was able. The injured artichoke was taken to emergency at the hospital and rushed into surgery.<\/p>\n

After a long and agonizing wait, the doctor finally appeared.<\/p>\n

He told the uninjured artichoke, “I have good news, and I have bad news. The good news is that your friend is going to pull through.” “The bad news is that he’s going to be a vegetable for the rest of his life.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

At 4:00 PM, we cleaned up and went to Patty’s Place for a little drink and an appetizer. We departed Patty’s and met up with the Capps at 8:00 at Hof’s Hut.\u00a0 We ate again, which we should not have done this late in the evening.\u00a0 We were home by 11:00 PM and crashed.<\/p>\n

I think the excitement of the week, buying a new home, and running around just did us in.<\/p>\n

It is hard to imagine that I will own my home only for two more days; Monday, I become a\u00a0 renter (for 30 days or less).<\/p>\n

For some reason, I always have trouble renting trailers.\u00a0 I can’t seem to pull it off without a hitch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
