Did you hear about the crime in the parking garage? It was wrong on so many levels.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

My day started early as I had to get to Los Alamitos before 8:15 AM to see Dr. Newman.\u00a0 On my way, there was severe fog right around Old Ranch.<\/p>\n

Well, the results were positive; Dr. Newman took only one biopsy and squirted his liquid nitrogen about fifteen places on my hands.\u00a0 I do not see him until April 2021.<\/p>\n

It was quite foggy, just around the golf course.<\/p><\/div>\n

Mary called to check on me (a nice feeling, I might add), and she reported she was departing work about 1:00 PM and doing some errands. Her car cleaners are coming to her house at around 3:00 PM.<\/p>\n

I planned to meet Robin for lunch like we always do on Wednesdays, and then I remember the restaurants are closed.\u00a0 Well, it was command decision time, so I opted to go to the restaurant and sit with Robin while our takeout order was completed. We visited for about twenty minutes before the order was ready.\u00a0 Robin rocketed back to work, about two miles away as the crow flies. I pondered to myself, “Self, what does a GPS unit say to a crow?”<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I followed her until she hit the gas and then, like Miss Mary, all I saw was a cloud of dust and a voice yelling, “Hi Ho Silver, Away!”\u00a0 I had to slow down until the street became visible again as the ocean breeze cleared the dust.<\/p>\n

Rocketing back to work.<\/p><\/div>\n

Since I had to see Annie at the dentist at 2:00 PM, I opted for fish tacos sans hot sauce and not the ultra-hot shrimp diablo I had last time I visited Annie.\u00a0 I hate to see a grown woman cry.\u00a0 It wasn’t the crying so much last time as the gagging and singed eyebrows that worried me.\u00a0 The shrimp-diablo must have been bad as there was a surcharge on my bill for the rental of a small SCUBA outfit.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

After two hours in the chair!<\/p><\/div>\n

Dr. Annie and I have this agreement.\u00a0 Today I did not have to bite her a single time!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

About 4:15 PM, I headed for Mary’s and was pleasantly surprised as she looked like a million dollars; she had cooked up a delicious Mexican dinner, she had the wine glass ready, and it was just perfect.\u00a0 Thinking quickly, I attempted to get naked so that I could meet her at the door properly as you read about in the dime-store romance novels.<\/p>\n

However, there were loud complaints from the neighbors as I attempted to disrobe, with discretion, with one yelling, “Hey dummy, she is supposed to be naked!”.\u00a0 Well, geez, how would I know? I better read some more?<\/p>\n

Robin called around 6:30 PM, and we chatted with her for a while, making plans for the upcoming weekend.<\/p>\n

We enjoyed a wonderful meal, shared the days’ activities, and watched “Two Men And A Smart Assed Child.”\u00a0 We tried for a Christmas movie, but alas, old age is catching up.\u00a0 Mary had a 7:00 AM business meeting on Zoom, and I needed to get home and check on my etchings.<\/p>\n

On the way home, I thought about next year…<\/p>\n
