I’m reading a book about anti-gravity. I can’t put it down.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I popped up this morning, got dressed, and headed to the surgeon to get my stitches removed.\u00a0 Arrived promptly three hours ahead of time, I was informed I had to come back.\u00a0 Poo!\u00a0 Fortunately, I had errands to do, so I made breakfast and then went to the shoe store and cleaners arriving home just in time to leave again!<\/p>\n

It’s a healthy food day!<\/p><\/div>\n

All-day yesterday the back of the Grey Ghost was rattling, drove me nuts.\u00a0 So I took everything apart and drove around the block.\u00a0 Damn rattle was still there.\u00a0 I folded down the seats, and it still rattled.\u00a0 I was about to give up when I noticed the license plate was loos along with its holder.\u00a0 Well, I tightened them up, and the noise went away.\u00a0 It seems the license plat would hit the large back door on the van and act like a kettle drum!\u00a0 Problem solved!<\/p>\n

I now have three more new shirts being cleaned, and I have five 36″ belts are ready to be worn; it has been a good day so far.<\/p>\n

Coming home, I was ready to see the great-grandkids, and there they were.\u00a0 Calhan and Logann are always happy to see\/hear their great-grandpa!\u00a0 The four of us talked for almost a half-hour.<\/p>\n

I went back to the doctor at 11:00 AM and got the stitches removed.\u00a0 It was painless, but later that evening, Mary said I should have screamed and sent the poor little stitch remover into a panic.\u00a0 We both laughed and admired my self-control.<\/p>\n

After seeing Vicky’s posts, I decided she needed the patio furniture more than the front yeard did, so I moved things to the back yard.\u00a0 Now she and Del and sit and watch the varmints enjoy the water while in the shade.<\/p>\n

Vicky now has a place to relax and watch the grandkids.<\/p><\/div>\n

So I have an empty front yard patio, and to fix that, I went to Long Beach Spas and walked around.\u00a0 I found the umbrella I needed, and I selected a table with a fire pit built-in.\u00a0 The chairs I picked were “rockers,” and now I was ready to order.\u00a0 But first, I decided I better go home and measure everything.<\/p>\n

Mew furniture for the patio.<\/p><\/div>\n

Around 5:00 PM, Mary called and mentioned she had some chicken in the refrigerator, and she was making dinner.\u00a0 Silly me, I tried to resist, but that was futile.\u00a0 \u00a0Into the Grey Ghost I went, but this time I brought a present… for Scout.\u00a0 The baby needed a doggie pool because of the heat!<\/p>\n

Arriving at MAry’s, I set up the pool and began filling it with water.\u00a0 By tomorrow it will be a pleasant 80+ degrees, and Scout can go swimming.<\/p>\n

After dinner, we talked for a while.\u00a0 I enjoy the “table-talk,” an activity Sue and I shred for thirty-three years!\u00a0 The subjects were various, but sharing was the vital part.\u00a0 Tomorrow is a workday for Mary, so I bounded out at 9:00 PM and decided to visit Chuck, knowing he would entice me with a purple gin!<\/p>\n

I was enticed!<\/p><\/div>\n

I failed at delivering Mary’s tomatoes to Chuck this evening, but that gives me an excuser to visit Patty’s Place tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Chuck sends his hellos.<\/p><\/div>\n

Homeward bound, I summoned Alexa to work her magic, and the pool turned purple, the same color as my drink!\u00a0 OMG, I could drown in 35,000 gallons of gin!\u00a0 What a way to go!<\/p>\n

I resisted the pool, but it was not easy!<\/p><\/div>\n

It was a lovely evening, and I thought about Miss Mary all the way home.\u00a0 We have known each other for seventeen years, and finally, we get to know each other?\u00a0 I am so happy when I talk about Sue that Mary knew Sue and can recall her kindness and friendship.<\/p>\n
