Tomorrow will be six months since I lost the love of my life.\u00a0 This scene below was repeated every few weeks as she loved Greek food, and George’s was exceptional.\u00a0 We would yell “Opa,” and the fire would dance in the cheese.\u00a0 Then we would get to the dangerous part of the meal, wine!<\/p>\n

She taught me much about food but a lot more about life and how to live it.\u00a0 She was unique in many ways.\u00a0 I love you, dear one, always will!<\/p>\n

Sue’s last birthday was at George’s Greek Cafe.<\/p><\/div>\n

Up and out of bed as the Grey Ghost must take me to the surgeon by 8:00 AM, where I am to be carved up, and cancer removed.\u00a0 The experience was pretty uneventful, but they did need to carving sessions to make sure the margins were clear.<\/p>\n

The chuck they took out was round, but they stitch the top and bottom together, and in another week, the stitches can come out.<\/p><\/div>\n

I was home by 11:30 AM and rested for a while as the doctor said no strenuous activities.\u00a0 Mary had made some delicious chicken, so I heated it, and that put me in a napping condition for a couple of hours.<\/p>\n

Bob came by about 5:00 PM as it was too hot to start at noon.\u00a0 When I heard him, I got up and helped move the concrete blocks around to the front yard to the back.<\/p>\n

The wall begins to go up tomorrow afternoon, and by this weekend it will be done.<\/p><\/div>\n

By 7:00 PM is was getting cool, so I opened up the house and went to the front yard and sat in the patio with a nice glass of wine.<\/p>\n

I was going to go into the hot tub tonight, but it is hot, and the sweat would probably not be suitable for the healing process, so that I will wait a day!<\/p>\n

The patio is excellent for dinner.<\/p><\/div>\n

I have decided to move this table\/chairs\/umbrella tot he back yard and add a 10×12 gazebo on the front patio as that wold protect my porch swing plus provide more shade in the late afternoons.\u00a0 I have two selected from Amazon, plus I spotted on at Costco last week.<\/p>\n

It would be a perfect fit for the patio!<\/p><\/div>\n

The Sun was going down, and so was the wine.\u00a0 Time to go inside and work on the daily diary and get ready for tomorrow.<\/p>\n

The sun was setting as the wine was being poured.<\/p><\/div>\n

This wine was Sue’s wine, nonalcoholic, which is perfect for my weight loss activities.\u00a0 It is called St. Regis, and it is pretty good.<\/p>\n

An excellent way to end the day!<\/p><\/div>\n
