We did so much together, emphasis on TOGETHER.\u00a0 Once a year Sue would take me to the snow even if it was 8,000 miles, oops, feet, in the sky.\u00a0 The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway was her happy place because she got to be tall!\u00a0 Not only that, but she also let me go out in the snow and play while she stayed in the lodge and sipped champagne! We had so much fun TOGETHER.<\/p>\r\n

The Brass Monkey spoke in a very high voice on tis fine day!!!<\/p><\/div>\r\n

My day started early with a cup of coffee and paying bills.\u00a0 Love Band Of America as we get most of our bills through their Bill Pay system. It was 56 when I got up so I was mostly using the time needed while Old Sol heated up the outside.<\/p>\r\n

I talked to Colleen and Robin on the Bat Phone and we shared the Zoom events of last night. Robin displayed her new shopping costume”.<\/p>\r\n

If you are going to be robbed, might as well be by a high style and classy robber!<\/p><\/div>\r\n

No breakfast today, I just headed outside and painted the front of our living room which faces the Sun.\u00a0 I did get caught on the top of a twelve-foot ladder bt Vicky but I promised NOT to fall!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

You can see the color was a pretty good match to the original.\u00a0 I removed the outside lights and will probably go to Home Depot in the morning real early to get motion-sensitive lights.<\/p>\r\n

After twenty years, the paint was getting thin and I could see the wood grain, so it was time to put on another coat of high-quality paint!<\/p><\/div>\r\n

Around noon, I began to get hunger paints so it was time to cook.\u00a0 In the “older days”, I would go get a burger and fries.\u00a0 NO more, I went inside and prepared Korean B?eef Bibimbap!<\/p>\r\n

Bibimbap from Korea means, literally “mixed rice”, sometimes romanized as bi bim bap or bi bim bop, is a Korean rice dish. The term “bibim” means mixing various ingredients, while the “bap” noun refers to rice. Bibimbap is served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with namul (saut\u00e9ed and seasoned vegetables) or kimchi (traditional fermented vegetables) and gochujang (chili pepper paste), soy sauce, or doenjang (a fermented soybean paste). A raw or fried egg and sliced meat (usually beef) are common additions. The hot dish is stirred together thoroughly just before eating.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

It was fun to make but it called for three pans going at once, it kept me busy!<\/p><\/div>\r\n

Their plates always look beautiful but I think they put it together based upon wanting to take a picture.\u00a0 \u00a0Mine turned out a little different but it was outstanding!<\/p>\r\n

I made enough for two so the other half went into the frig using the FoodSaver 4400 vacuum sealer device.<\/p><\/div>\r\n

Their estimate of prep time was right on and using the method of putting everything out first really helps!<\/p>\r\n

Slicing and dicing, I do that quite well!<\/p><\/div>\r\n

After a pleasant lunchtime, including a glass of Sue’s special wine, I cleaned up and headed back outside.\u00a0 I began the garage painting and finished about 4:00 PM.\u00a0 I was tired of going up\/down the ladders!\u00a0 Time to rest.<\/p>\r\n

I felt too tired to clean up so I laid down and watched TV for a bit.\u00a0 At 7:00 the girls called.\u00a0 First Colleen and then Robin.\u00a0 We chatted and then I headed to the shower and got ready for bed.\u00a0 I was in my jammies by 8:00 PM.\u00a0 I watched some TV before retiring to the office to do the daily diary on my way to bed.\u00a0 I will definitely sleep tonight!.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
