We were supposed to have biscuits and gravy with Vicky, Del, and Ed, but I have a runny nose and a cough, no temperature, but a prescription in case I get a temperature.\u00a0 We decided we did not want to risk Ed and Del getting anything, so we stayed home.<\/p>\n

Our daughter’s, Robin, Lisa, and Colleen did the obituary, but I had to pick our a picture.\u00a0 I completely lost it, and after a while, I selected my favorite.\u00a0 It was Sue, alone, in a formal taken while we were cruising on the Queen Mary in the South China Sea.\u00a0 Damn, she was beautiful!!<\/p>\n

On the trip from Australia to Hawaii via Japan<\/p><\/div>\n

Colleen and I went to Subway Sandwich for brunch.\u00a0 When I was walking two years ago (I walked over 1,000 miles in the hood), I would stop there for a bite to eat.\u00a0 The veggie sandwich is only 220 calories but very filling, and spicy!<\/p>\n

My weight is dropping as I hit 213 this morning, that is a good thing!<\/p>\n

We did a few more chores and then returned home.\u00a0 I can’t seem to get into doing anything; my span-of-attention appears to be about five minutes, but I guess that will get better!<\/p>\n

The “BatPhone”\u00a0 showed the yellow light onto the ceiling with the bat symbol, and we knew there was “incoming.”\u00a0 We dashed to Bat Phonebooth (my office) and carefully pushed the button, knowing not what we might see.\u00a0 \u00a0In a flash, there were our great-grandchildren Calhan and Logann with Jackie (our granddaughter).\u00a0 We talked for 20 minutes; it was an uplifter!<\/p>\n

The Bat Phone performed well!<\/p><\/div>\n

Colleen departed about 1:00 PM to do some visiting and babysitting, and wow, the loneliness hit me.\u00a0 I guess that is the way it will be for a while!<\/p>\n

While Colleen was gone, I found all of Sue’s Vanderbear collection and decided to send them home with Colleen since she has two girls and more females on the way.\u00a0 Plus, Colleen remembers us having the bears around when she lived with us.\u00a0 Over the years, Sue had quite a collection.<\/p>\n

Sue and I would dress these little guys for every season and holiday<\/p><\/div>\n

I would get the massive collection of clothes, and Sue would pick out the new outfits for Cornelius, Alice, Fuzzy, Fluffy, and Muffy. The even had a bed and a clothes closet for their little outfits.\u00a0 It used to make Sue very happy.\u00a0 I remember going to doll shows with Sue, and she would find a new outfit and get giggly!<\/p>\n

Also this afternoon, I filled two 30 gallons boxes of photo albums from when Sue was growing up with her family.\u00a0 Diane and her family will get a kick out of these old photos.\u00a0 Some of the pictures are of Sue’s grandparents.\u00a0 I am so blessed with a wonderful sister-in-law!<\/p>\n

Colleen returned about 7:00 PM with taco making’s sent by Rebecca, our granddaughter.\u00a0 We enjoyed the fixing’s we called Rebecca to thank her.\u00a0 \u00a0After dinner, we called Robin and Lisa to say hello and coordinate tomorrow’s visit to Temecula.\u00a0 It will be a “party” as the whole gang is joining us. Pete & Lisa are coming up, Bob & Robin are coming over from Corona, and Colleen and I are stopping at Lake Elsinore and picking up Lee, my High School Sweatheart who recently lost her husband about five years ago.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After the Bat Phone calls, Colleen showed me another picture I had never seen.\u00a0 I knew Sue loved trains and now I understand why we would go on train trips quite often!<\/p>\n

She is running a railroad in February of 1974 (this picture is about the time we “met” at work.)<\/p><\/div>\n

Colleen was tired, and I think she should have been after babysitting me all morning and then Lilly and Remy all afternoon and early evening.\u00a0 We both crashed at 10:00 PM.\u00a0 I cheated and watched a little TV, but it did not last long. I needed to stay up for another dose of cough syrup!<\/p>\n

It’s 2:00 AM, and I could not sleep so, we will pick this up tomorrow! Good night all!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
