The day was grey, and it stayed grey all day!\u00a0 The temperature topped out at 65, and it was moist with some drizzle on occasion.\u00a0 I got busy trimming the berry garden, and thanks to my welding gloves, I escaped with most of my skin still attached to the bone!\u00a0 Cleaning out last year’s growth must be done carefully to maximize growth this year.<\/p>\n

Lots of trimming required to clean out the beds. Most of the plants were up to the top of the poles before I got started!<\/p><\/div>\n

Blackberries need pruning each year, so they don’t become unmanageable. Pruning helps maintain tangle-free blackberry bushes and keeps them confined to their space. Keeping blackberry well-pruned also helps the plants send up new shoots, keeps plants healthy, and creates stronger, more productive canes, which increases the fruit yield.\u00a0 By cutting the plants, next year, I will be getting another abundant harvest.<\/p>\n

Last year, Summer of 2019, we had berries for three months!<\/p><\/div>\n

After lunch, I got good news in the mail that I passed the first two classes in my Ph.D. program receiving passing in\u00a0 “Organizational Theory And Design”\u00a0 and\u00a0 “The Dynamics Of Group And Team Leadership.”\u00a0 Only 44 more credits are now required.\u00a0 The eight weeks of on-line activity paid off! It’s not as easy as I thought, but I always wanted to be called Doctor!<\/p>\n

I spent almost three hours on the phone with Apple attempting to get some login\/coordination issues resolved.\u00a0 It seems my original iMac changed how it operated after Catalina was installed?\u00a0 The other two iMacs, the MacBookPro, the three iPhones, and the iPad, are working fine.\u00a0 We finally got it resolved, but it was not easy!!<\/p>\n
