The hospital that feeds you refined sugar, white bread, canned soup, bouillon cubes, and frozen vegetables should be closed by the health department as a menace to the public health.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I headed to the hospital at 7:00 AM to visit for a few minutes before going to the Honda dealer for a B1 service. B1= oil and filter change and tire rotation.<\/p>\n

On the way to the dealer, I stopped at a local restaurant called Hortencias OC Mexican Grill. The breakfast was super, and I was ready for the day, especially after having a large cup of Mexican coffee.<\/p>\n

Mom and Pop establishment and excellent service and food!<\/p><\/div>\n

They accomplished the required service in less than two hours, which gave me time to do some work in their beautiful lounge!\u00a0 I love the Apple MacBook Pro when I take it out.\u00a0 Normally, it sits on my office desk for quick glances at our financials. The service manager said amazing, original brakes and tires after 80,000 miles!\u00a0 I guess I am an easy driver.<\/p>\n

The Silver Ghost is happy again!!<\/p><\/div>\n

After the Honda visit, I headed to Taco Surf and got veggie taco’s for Sue as the hospital food is, let’s say, “interesting.”\u00a0 \u00a0Irene came by and visited.\u00a0 She is such a great friend!\u00a0 We kept the family posted on the going’s on via text.<\/p>\n

I returned home to do some chores, and about 3:00 PM, the hospital called and said she was being released. So, back into the Silver Ghost and off I went picking her up at 4:00 PM.\u00a0 \u00a0I always remember the famous Erma Bobbeck quote:<\/p>\n

“Getting out of the hospital is a lot like resigning from a book club. You’re not out of it until the computer says you’re out of it”.<\/p>\n

We did a quick stop at CVS to pick up the new meds and then home we went.<\/p>\n

We called Colleen and talked to her, and in the middle of that conversation, Joe called to ask about Grandma! So, I put the iPhone up next to the Bat Phone, and we had a three-way conversation.\u00a0 Today was Joe’s first day on the new job, and he was finding his way home.<\/p>\n

Why is she in a blanket we asked? Because it was 11 degrees outside!<\/p><\/div>\n

We jabbered for about 45 minutes and hung up when Joe arrived home. We love talking to our kids.\u00a0 Michele called earlier and we are having lunch with Robin tomorrow, if all goes well!<\/p>\n

Then it was off to the TV to watch some “Last Man Standing” and “Bostom Legal.”\u00a0 Funny stuff.\u00a0 Tonight Sue crashed at 11:45, and I followed her by about 30 minutes as I neede to do the Dialy Diary!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
