It’s a beautiful day in the hood!<\/p><\/div>\n

So I have been on this planet for 75 years and have eaten Chinese food almost as long, but I never knew the box we reach into with chopsticks could become a plate by merely opening it up (as shown below)!\u00a0 We always wondered why the container seemed to complex, and now we know!\u00a0 Dang!<\/p>\n

Wow! Whoda thunk?<\/p><\/div>\n

We decided to go to Taco Surf for lunch as we have had enough pizza!\u00a0 It was wonderful!\u00a0 Crispy taco’s are my favorite!\u00a0 We were terrible and decided Coldstgone Creamy was getting lonesome and may go out of business without our daily contribution. So, we did a fly-by and got our goodies to go!!<\/p>\n

Juan, our car wash guy, was due at our house at 1:00 PM, so we had to skedaddle home!\u00a0 He was right on time and did both cars, looks like a showroom in our garage and driveway.\u00a0 The Grey Lady (our Avalon) is such a beautiful car even though she is a teenager these days!<\/p>\n

We got our daily “batphone” call from Colleen, and we chatted for a while.\u00a0 She sent us the latest picture of our great-granddaughter, Logann, who is ready to ride the open range and capture the band guys!<\/p>\n

Ride ’em, Cow Girl!!<\/p><\/div>\n

I hope that America will always have cowboys (and cowgirls) and Indians, but the crazy lefties try to stamp out everything American these days!\u00a0 Yep, I had a cap gun, and no, I am not aiming at Tom.\u00a0 In my sights was an Injun coming over the back fence!<\/p>\n

Tom left us in 2017, and I sure miss him.\u00a0 The open range does not seem the same without him!<\/p>\n

My cousin Tom and I rode the range back in the late 1940s (I have the gun)<\/p><\/div>\n

Sue took a nap, and I worked on the Topper’s newsletters, getting them ready to mail! At 4:00 PM, the physical therapist stopped by, and we lot some new exercises to keep Sue busy every day.\u00a0 I am now a Personal trainer amongst the other monikers I have learned!<\/p>\n

It’s 5:00 PM and time to get ready to go to the Elks and meet up with the gang, first time in a month with all the illnesses we have had.\u00a0 It;s going to be exciting to catch up on all the gossip!<\/p>\n

Irene, Donna & Bob, Marsha & Leon, and Andrea & Marcin were here this evening! Translation: We had loads of fun!<\/p>\n

“Mom” was here, so we had to behave!<\/p><\/div>\n

We returned home about 9:30 PM and watched Boston Legal and then crashed.\u00a0 It has been a long week.\u00a0 Ending it with a good series and tookies seemed like the right thing to do!<\/p>\n
